The Jet Bubble's drift value is actually a few units lower than the Flame Runner Dry Bones and Toad can take corners tighter than the Flame Runner since it's slower

I recently found your channel and have been watching quite a few over the past few days, they're super nice and I dig the format! It's really enjoyable that you just play and have a good time, they're challenge run adjacent and its clear you're knowledgeable but it gives the vibes of hanging out with a friend. 0:02 for Time Trials maybe, but for online races the Dolphin Dasher, Magikruiser, and Bullet Bike are definitely better than the Spear lol. Despite the lightweight disadvantage, the drift or off-road and mini-turbo and just the ability to actually make the turns on tracks like DK Mountain and Bowser's Castle more than make up for it. TWD98 did put those three in B tier while putting the Spear in C tier, because not being able to make tight turns is a huge disadvantage on tracks that aren't super simple like Luigi Circuit or Yoshi Falls. The Spear's speed is actually a disadvantage in that case since you're going too fast and can't control the vehicle and end up hitting walls or falling off the track.

Hmm… I see where you’re coming from, but I feel like it largely depends on a person’s play style. Yeah, tracks like GCN DK Mountain can be a pain, but I still feel like the Spear can dominate over lightweight vehicles when being used properly. But, hey, to each their own (-:

@@beanzard64 yea Spear is definitely top tier on very simple tracks like Yoshi Falls or Peach Beach. It's just a very inconsistent vehicle and very difficult to use

the bubble bike with baby luigi was how my brother and i used to play (we would take turns doing tracks for grand prix) so i was surprised when you said it was just not a good vehicle

My brother's favourite combo was Baby Luigi on a Magic Kruiser. He almost always played that bike and he made it fast.

I find that the magicruser is also very good in online as it can keep up with the flamer runner but it can also break away on some tracks. After playing with both that and the spear it is definitely miles better than the spear for online because of its terrible drift stat
