This man has more common sense in his little pinky than alot of people I've seen on KZbin! Just because an arrow can go 100-1000 yards 'DOES NOT MEAN IT SHOULD BE SHOT AT ANY ANIMAL!' As someone who agrees with you, I want to thank you for wasting my time. I was under the impression that was a review of the Bear Constrictor, a cross bow I am thinking of purchasing, but wanted to watch reviews first. After 4 minutes of preaching, I thought, "Ok...here comes the the actual review." Nope....I was wrong. If you're not going to do an actual review, then don't label it as a review. The only product you talked about was the bolts that came with it.

Do you know where I can get a crank for my constrictor. The crossbow shoots really good. No problems at all besides the cocking ropes. The crossbow is well worth the price.

I practice all day at 100 yards. And every shot is on point. But I will only hunt up to 50 to 60 yards tops. I have respect for the woods and animals. I use a killer instinct boss 405. Wt a upgraded Lumix IRE scope. DSC Crank. Victory CARBON bolts. 425 grain. And Rage broadheads.

I agree and have stated the exact same thing about shots at 100 YDS from a Xbow. Entirely no need for it. The KE would be extremely low and penetration would be reduced.

You do sir you are exactly right I agree with you 100% compound bows and crossbows are short-range weapons to hunt with but you get the guys on the Outdoor Channel and I see it all the time were there trying to make 80 and 90 yard shot with a compound bow people will see this and they think if I buy that compound bow and if I shoot those arrows can I use that same Broadhead I should be able to shoot 80 and 90 yards at deer like that guy does and that is not ethical hunting if you ask me and the people on the Outdoor Channel should not be shooting that far at any kind of animal

At 400 fps with a 370gn arrow at 70 yards you are still over 350fps and well over 100ft/lbs of kinetic energy. You can argue opinions, but you can't argue physics

I take the high road. More challenging to get them in close. I own a barnette whitetail hunter str. I'm using the victory bolts with wasp jackhammer macanical broudheads. Closest shot on a deer yet. 7 yards nice 6 point. Farthest shot 40 yards, could it do longer shots yes have practiced at 30, 40, 50, and 60. Would I take a 60 yard shot? No I wouldn't. Who in the hell wants to take shot like that in the first place. I rather shoot 20 to 30 yr Shots. Plus the speed alone is really good for the price. Better then spending $2000 on a crossbow. That a $300 crossbow can shoot. Them ravins and ten points ain't no better. Thanks bear 🐻 for making it easy on us working man.

Hello sir. THANK YOU for stating what I thought was obvious about shooting an animal at those ridiculous ranges like 100 yards or anything over 50 for that matter. I was watching the outdoor channel this morning and this jerkoff shot one at about 75 yards if I heard his camera guy right and hit the deer above the guts in the spine towards the hind quarter and then proceeded to shoot 2 more arrows at the deer because it was only paralyzed partially and in tremendous pain. I went off when I seen that and thought to use that as a good teaching point to my son and this video backs up what I was saying to him. I can’t believe that was even allowed to be shown on the outdoor channel because of how stupid and ridiculous it looked to me as a viewer and was piss poor sportsmanship. So thank you again sir for stating the obvious because evidently there are people out there that think it’s right just as long as u get the animal. If it’s for food because your starving then whatever but this is becoming a regular thing for ppl to do and it needs to stop. It makes us hunters look bad and will one day hurt this sport. I practice with my compound up to 60yrds, but I only shoot an animal 20-25yrds max. Off season I like shooting distance with all my weapons.

I agree 100 yards way to far 50 great. I'll push it to 60 if it is a calm day and lane of fire is clear of obstructions and the deer is full broadside and standing still

Not to mention sound travel. The deer will hear the bow let off and have plenty of time to react before the bolt reaches him. They duck and jump bolts at 50 yards.

50 yards is the only ethical shot. Rifle or otherwise, unless it's a Chinese rifle, then maybe 10 feet.

I use a combound bow from Bear and it is i guess pritty much all you can ask for. So i guess on the crossbow it will be the same. all what it det the price down, might be the spanning system...

4-5 hundred is my max for a bow. I wouldn't pay $50 for any KILLER INSTINCT bow.the BARNETT GHOST 360 is the most accurate crossbow I've ever used. 1/2" group at 50 yards all day long. Tenpoint is good but way over priced. Parker in my opinion had the best affordable reliable bows. I'm going to pick this bow up today. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I don't like the shape of the limbs. This limb shape is the same as killer instinct. We won't even get into that. Whatever bow you purchase, throw away the bolts that came with it and spend the money on heavier bolt and broadhead setup

If there has ever been boomer out there this guy fits it. God forbid some of us shoot archery for fun and shoot over 50 yards yes hunters should take ethical shots but to say you shouldn’t practice further shots is crazy. Trust me practice at 60 or 70 before season and when you get that short shot at 20 it feels so easy to make. Also this not a review literally learned nothing about the crossbow.

People have been trying to impose a personal "ethical distance" since before bows had cams and cables, and that distance hasn't changed.😄 Distance is dependent on the archer, equipment, game and environment. There is no hard line in the sand. Saying there is is kind of silly.
