Great Video I find this funny there are bears all over Gatlinburg Tennessee and in Pigeon Forge I hiked the Appalachian trail and saw lots of bears they're more scared of us. The one thing is if you see a mother and her cubs then look out the mother will chase after you to protect her cubs.

I recommend you buy an Air Horn - will scare this bear away for good - strength is 120 dB at 10 feet and it's range is up to a half a mile. The Super Blast model. This bear has no fear and that is not good for you, your family and if you have pets.

It looks like a youngster learned how to survive by his mother. He's not afraid because his mommy taught him to be seen and hear the voices of humans as a cub . Very similar to KZbin bear " Simone" ❤❤❤❤

What a beautiful memory for the children to behold, an actual non-cartoon character bear wandering around "the 'hood."🤠 This is not deep in the wilds of a Bengalese jungle or something. These bears in these idyllic surroundings are accustomed to people. An immature bear innocently wandering around sniffing a freaking garbage container is not the freaking end of the world. If momma was around it would be different, but do all the alarmists have the facts on how many bear attacks have occurred in this area, if any?🙈🥺😫 (It kinda looks like an adolescent in a bear suit.😊 A REAL cuteness overload.👏👍🤗😛)

Not likely though. My child was once bitten by a squirrel nibbling her granola bar. No rabies, and she didn't need shots. The little critters do have a strong bite though. Side note: she was bitten on the Illinois State Capitol steps.

You should have scared the bear away to protect your family in the future. Even though we often play with stuffed teddy bears and think they are adorable, there's can kill people pretty easily. They are cute, but they should not be at your house.

I live in Gatlinburg. You are supposed to have BEAR PROOF TRASH BINS !!! You need to share this video with the Gatlinburg police and Sevier county Sheriff's department and give them the address too !! So irresponsible !!! That's a young bear that needs to fear humans. Always scare them off so they don't get relaxed around humans.

Nope. They are all competing for it. I think it's a family. Must be genetics. Short on good sense and basic survival instincts. One of them will get too close, or try to pet it or feed it or shoo it off, or some other stupidity. Someone gets mauled, bitten or killed. Then it's the bear's fault... of course, and the bear gets shot by the wildlife officers, etc., etc., etc. ad nausea. They don't even have secured trash cans. These are people I'd like to just pound the crap out of on general principle.

I understand if you’ve never been exposed to bears up close like this and how dumb found it, you may feel or act. And you probably were there on vacation and not your normal environment. But for Pete sake, get the kids and grandma in the safety of the home. Someone even said they could watch him from the side window of the house and the kitchen window. Did you not see him giving you the side eye? In addition to not being scared of you! Unbelievable anyone would put their loved ones in possible danger. My brother is retired and lives in the mountains. When his big dog has to go outside to go to the bathroom, and if they open up the door, and the dog backs up, they know there’s a bear around and they don’t go outside. And when they do go outside, they’re packing a pow-pow for protection. Next time, do your research, and have a plan if you’re going to be, where bears roam.

I would have not allowed it to get so close to my front door you guys have children what if u r not home one day, wait until it gets a little bigger and remember the spot to go get food at, these are dangerous creatures although he is a baby he has a momma and they may not be kind to an innocent child or your next door neighbor you should have spray water, fired a gun off or something to allowed it to know not to cross the lines where people live.

Never feed a bear! They will associate food with people and get too comfortable and eventually attack. That is why the authorities end up killing them. NEVER FEED A BEAR.

Bear live in that area. This is just like being entertained by a squirrel 🐿️ in the park or a alligator in Florida Everglades. These people do show good common sense. The child laughing makes the video worth watching more than the bear.
