What about futures? Coinbase will make most of its money from bitcoin futures trading, not spot trading. Plus, they will be expanding into other key areas.

they might have seen higher revenue, but it didn't really match up to the drop in their user base. if coinbase keeps losing users over the next few months, i'm pretty sure they'll end up going bankrupt from it.
