ABOUT BEARDBRAND
Beardbrand is a men’s grooming company that is helping men keep on growing by providing education and tools for urban beardsmen to master their morning routine. We’ve found that confidence starts with self investment, and allows men to do great things for their families, co-workers, and community. We are working to break down the negative stereotypes that surround bearded men, and show the world it’s the man who matters, not the way he looks.

About 2 years ago I've said that if I could learn anything from Beardbrand I would get my beard looking very close to Jeff's beard(because the colors are almost identical), from a shitty, messed up beard that I used to have. And guess what. I got that goal. Even our mustaches are looking similar. Thanks to Jeff and Beardbrand.

This video was so clutch for me. My chin hairs kept curling outward when they reached a certain length, and I'd always just take length off my beard at that point since nearly every beard post I've read has said to stay away from heat/blow drying one's beard. The brush turning and hair dryer combo straightened the hairs perfectly and made my beard look so much better overall. Thank you for the tips!

Jeff, this was a very comprehensive video, which makes us see that even beard gods like you have to take the time to get it right. I've been finally able to talk my wife into letting me grow my beard without being trheatened by her (LOL), and I'm really enjoying the beard journey. Maybe I won't go that long, but I'll definetely let it get denser, since I have a thick beard as well. Thanks a lot, Jeff and guys at Beardbrand, and beard on!

Thanks, Jeff! I feel like Jeff is a real legit guy, y’all.. I think we’d be great friends. He seems motivationally spirited, yet perfectly grounded... Anyway, for all the people saying they don’t have time for this, I bet it takes about 10 minutes if you’re not in a rush. That’s not a lot of time really if you desire a long beard and care about looking decent. Obviously there are some quicker options out there, but this was an awesome, detailed tutorial on how to tackle some unruly areas of a beard in my opinion.

jeff your vids are always great. i have a tip from experience, my beard is similar length to yours and with the front bit of the beard esp the hair on and under the chin, i tend to take the 360 brush and work from bottom of the neck where the adams apple is and pull the hair up toward the ceiling and then twist it under. i section the hair too starting with under the chin, on the chin and then above the chin. it really helps get the hairs straight yet still curl under the chin if that makes sense, sort of like how you do the sides of your beard but in sections

As always, excellent video Jeff with some very practical suggestions on beard styling. I follow very similar steps to yours in styling my beard . I just started using beard balm which works great for a day or two. However, I find myself having to wash my beard more often to keep it fluffy. I still prefer beard oil . What was the name of the cylindrical comb you were using? I sure hope beardbrand is giving you some good compensation for your videos as they are the best in my opinion. Keep them coming.

Mine is too puffy too and a mess now, but don't necessarily want to go to beard barbers either as they take too much off. I'm needing to do this for myself I reckon. Hey Jeff, great video! I've been growing my beard out for around 6 weeks now. My beard already has a good foundation and thickness to it, although its not yet long enough to control with a brush and blow-dry. @TAKLProductions
@TAKLProductions 2 жыл бұрын
Leave the fly away hairs alone, don't trim nothing until 3 months, and even then you should just outline the beard and not trim it. Your beard will find its own shape, and I promise trimming it will make you regret it later because you'll never get that real fullness

My beard is way too curly to comb. It wants to dread just like my head hair. I get really nice jerry curls but i have never once been able to get a comb through it. I have a stack of all different kinds of combs and products, I've just sort of embraced it. I have a curly beard and it's not worth daily battle to try to change that. My biggest challenge is when hairs fall out they get stuck in beard curls for a few days (until next beard shampoo)

Personally I don't put that much product in my beard all at once, just a nice beard balm that has some hold to it
