Your other brow and myself were spitballing ideas the other day and wanted to run something by you. Do you mind if we start growing downward and connect into your cheek line? They're reaching out to us anyway, so I figured it might be best to meet them halfway. Thanks for featuring my comment, by the way!

Today is an au naturale day for me - don't have anything in the beard today after an argan oil wash. I need at least a drop or two of beard oil. Because I like to use styling balm in my beard, someone said to make sure you had oil in there first because styling balm can dry beard hair slightly.

I only use like, probably half of a starburst worth of styling balm. My beard is usually around a 4-5 monther, after I'm done putting it in my beard there's enough to put in my hair. It's also the only product I use besides beardbrand beard wash. Good video as always

I usually do 2 applications a day....morning after shower...but seeing as I work outside all day in the dry...cold conditions, i find I have to do it all over again when I get home for the evening. So I think there are certain situations where you need to.
@InhabitantOfOddworld6 жыл бұрын
Hey Jack, fantastic beard progress, on Week 13 myself How often do you apply oil? Currently only use it after a shower which is every other day right now, so I don't notice any issues but not sure if I'm not applying enough on a daily basis
@Beardbrand6 жыл бұрын
After the shower is a great time to apply it. (That’s when I put it in). But hey, don’t be afraid to put about 2 to 3 drops in your beard everyday. - Jack

Dang, those cheeks are catching up pretty fast, seems like they're already starting to blend into the beard, at least from a distance. I'm really interested in seeing how they will look in a couple of months, and the rest of the beard too, of course. Hopefully not as ridiculous as I imagine, lol. Also, I'm really hoping your mustache hasn't hit terminal length yet. If it improves, it's gonna make your beard look even more impressive. Good luck, Jack!

Hi Jack, how many weeks did you let your Beard grow out before you stopped shaving your neck & allowed your neck beard to start growing in? I grew my beard for around 5 months without any shaving or trimming and my neck hair grew way faster than the rest of my beard and it just looked messy. I had to shave for a job interview. I am now at week 8 of growing my beard out again & shaving only my neck line 2 fingers above my Adams apple. How long should i wait before letting my neck hair grow in & stop shaving my neck? Thanks Davey

Hi, Jack! Love the videos. Question, what are your thoughts on dying beard hair to darken color? I'm currently attempting to grow my beard out, but a big portion of the hair is coming in pretty light. Thoughts?
@Beardbrand6 жыл бұрын
I think it definitely comes down to personal preference. I've actually dyed my mustache on previous beard attempts (my mustache used to come in super light colored). I say, different colors can look unique but if you want to go for a more uniform or fuller looking beard, there's nothing wrong with dyeing. - Jack

@Beardbrand6 жыл бұрын
Personally, I'd recommend using only the oil on a daily basis. Then, if you want to add a bit more hold or some style to your mustache or really hold down fly aways, apply the wax where necessary, but don't using more than a fingertip more of the wax - Jack

I use anywhere from 3 to 4 depending on how dry my beard is feeling. At around 2 or 3pm, I put about 1 to 2 drops in while I'm at the office since I mess with my beard while I'm editing videos and it ends up getting a little dry. - Jack

I've run into that situation too where a hair dryer can be way too loud. My suggestion would be to first, look into a very quiet hair dryer. If that's not in the cards for you though, taking some time to really comb down your beard and making sure to really form the hair into shape when you apply Styling Balm is a good move. - Jack
