Cool, a few jobs ago we got a Cummings NG fired 45KW Generator for our Datacenter and critical equipment to keep the branch running. We had a lot of power outages at that location. That thing ran 8 strait days once after the remnants of a hurricane tore everything up. That thing was a beast.

That was pretty awesome Brandon very informative I just changed the spark plugs not too long ago in my old GMC 3/4 ton took me 40 minutes those things were in there so tight I thought they were never going to come out
@BeardedSeabee825 жыл бұрын
thank you for watching james, occasionally on these trucks we get one as well might be pretty damn tight in there, i know on regular cars and trucks in past have had same problems after they had been in there for few years, can be pain in ass. as for our semi's we are kind of lucky that they put the amount of miles on them that they do, some trucks might see the 75k in 2.5 months, other trucks 6 months or so.

useful info for a new tech I was starting to think nobody paid attention to plugs anymore as to diagnostics, still here for the air compressor

Man, that brought me some memories back. I had a job as a cng (compressed natural gas) test driver and I remember driving those cars with the huge tank on the back. Scary at first but then you got used to it because the cars worked just the same. It was an interesting job though. I'm not sure if that's the same thing you're referring to.

Thank you for input, as for the semi-trucks, indeed similar akin to what it sounds like you test drove. Ours have large tank set ups in back of cabs also (looks like giant box add on), and also there are some trucks with smaller sideskirt mounted tanks (in aluminum box housings as well). thank you for watching!

I change my CNG car spark plugs at every 13,000- 14,000 miles which cost just above 3 dollars, it's better to change them for optimal performance and miles per gallon. You will save more money on gas than not spending on Spark plugs.
@BeardedSeabee824 жыл бұрын
I dont have much experience with the cng cars, but 3 bucks a spark plug is really cheap in comparison to the cummins spark plugs (45-50 a plug) but little bit of different application though too, these things see upwards 300k miles a year depending on routes
@advvaibhavvashisht93994 жыл бұрын
@@BeardedSeabee82 I tell you what, simply Google Maruti Suzuki - Celerio CNG, check it's engine specifications and cost of service plus spare parts. It's dirt cheap, only 35 dollars for yearly service or on every 10,000 Kilometres which includes, labour charge, engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs, full car inspection, air filter and interior plus exterior thorough cleaning. I'm from India, New Delhi.

@@BeardedSeabee82 also those plugs you talking about are really great and 300K miles is way too much for a plug in my opinion specially if car is running on an alternate fuel. P.S - It's 3 dollars for 3 plugs so 1 plug is for 1$.
@BeardedSeabee824 жыл бұрын
Ahh. Yeah i can see on car aide would be cheaper, but semi trucks here different applications
