I’ve got to say, ESR’s 100W 6-in-1 Charging Station is absolutely fantastic! I was so impressed with it that I ended up getting a second one for my desk and nightstand. It’s such a convenient way to charge multiple devices at once. The Twelve South Hi Rise 3 is a close second, but the ESR Charging Station just takes the cake.

One feature that was on a device that I wish I saw more of, was an output USB-C. I used it for charging my iPad Mini at night (I use a small 3D print stand). Saves cabling laying around and an outlet. Only need a 6 inch cable with the right arrangement.

I haven’t felt that. They all get slightly warm but that’s just due to the nature of wireless charging

I use a 3-in-1 MagSafe charger, and here are my top three favorites, ranked from first to third: 1. Nomad Stand One Max 3-in-1 (white) - A sleek and sturdy addition to my work desk, perfect for charging while I focus. 2. ESR Halolock 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with CryoBoost - My son enjoys using this on his study desk for fast, reliable charging. 3. Satechi 3-in-1 Foldable Qi2 Wireless Charger - Compact and portable, it’s my go-to for charging on the move.

I got 3-in-1 charger from Costco just last week. It’s not a popular brand, but folds up very compact like the Apple one and also doesn’t charge at max speeds, but I don’t really need that since I charge overnight. It was only $30 after $10 off.

Hey Stephen. I have a video idea. My van has CarPlay/Android auto via wired connection. I see a lot of these add on devices now which are meant to allow wireless instead. Was wondering if you review a few? Give us the pros/cons. A lot seem to be a bit suss and I’m not sure if any legit manufacturer makes them. I also heard that part of CarPlay specs is the vehicle provides the GPS data, saving the iPhone’s battery. Not sure if this is true and how it would work with these devices. Just a thought. Thank you!

Stephen, I'm a bit confused when it comes to charging the Apple Watch, perhaps you can help. I have Series 10 - should I get the 3-in-1 charger with 7.5 W to get fast charging, or is 5 W also going to work? I can't find a lot of 7.5 W products other than Mophie.
@beardfmАй бұрын
So 5W for Watch is actually what Apple considers "fast charging". On the latest Series 10 model there's supposedly even faster charging, but none of these 3-in-1 or 2-in-1's support that for watch just yet.

What would you say about the anker MagGo 3in1 rectangle thing. I’m hesitant to get it as it came out first, so you imagine other manufacturers would have spotted ways to improve since then. But I keep thinking it looks small enough. How does it compare to the Belkin 2in1 you picked as best for travel?, both in size and then overall.
@beardfmАй бұрын
I have that MagGo too and it works well, but I'm not crazy about the Watch charger coming out the back. If you want a super compact 3-in-1 it's a good option, but I typically wear my watch at night so a 2-in-1 allows me to charge the watch before bed, and then AirPods overnight
@BranagornАй бұрын
@@beardfmyeah that’s super helpful thanks. Compactness AND maintaining nightstand mode is what is important to me.

My go-to is the 2-1 Otterbox 15W Charging Station. I prefer Apple MagSafe-certified to ensure the health of my products’ batteries. For travel, I also have the 2-1 Otterbox 15W Powerbank 10Mah, which I pair with a 36W power adapter. The Otterbox Multi Mount Power Bank is my everyday essential. I use it as a car charger and in my office with the included stand. Apple MagSafe certified products memorize your standby display when charging. Qi2 products is a hit and a miss, plus is a universal technology not made for certified MagSafe according to the research.
@beardfmАй бұрын
Just a heads up, Qi2 is actually a standard built with Apple's MagSafe tech. They worked on the spec! So if something's Qi2 it's basically Apple's MagSafe tech.
@AlexSeg10Ай бұрын

I had a (albeit) different model Kuxiu and the Apple Watch charger kept reconnecting. I don't think it's a certified "Made for Apple Watch" charger like the larger brands use. Can't tell if Kuxiu is a premium brand or just another cheap Amazon brand. They charge a premium price at least.
