Hi Stephen, I love watching your videos; they’re amazing! Could you please guide me on how to create a shortcut for my Apple Watch? Here’s what I need: On weekdays at 5:00 AM, set my watch face to 'Modular' and have my recently played radio station ready to play. Once I start my workout, the radio station should play automatically. At 7:00 AM, switch the watch face back to 'Palette.' I’ve tried setting this up, but I’m encountering a domain error. Please note that I don’t carry my iPhone with me during workouts. Could you help me resolve this?

Hey there! Unfortunately the actions available to the Apple Watch by itself is pretty limited. I'm not even sure it can run Shortcuts without the Phone nearby, especially for music actions. Will try though!

There’s one tiny glitch with the Get Current App action I think. On the iPhone, if that app was opened once, it would perform the necessary action. But I put silent mode on under the otherwise statement. Which meant if none of the above apps was the current one, it should silent the device. But it didn’t, because the app was probably open in the background, and not visible since I was on the Home Screen.. here the get visible apps is working better, but also ends up not showing the silent icon alert on top at times..

Yeah..if you use “current app” the shortcut will freez almost every time.

Also I wonder if this can be automated using calendar as a variable, meaning if in the calendar the app detects a holiday whichever that holiday is it sends an auto text about that one holiday to the entire contact list

I'm really debating between getting an iPhone case + magsafe wallet so I can wirelessly charge or get a case that can holds cards but therefore is not magsafe capable. I'm thinking maybe the case + magsafe wallet is too clunky when laying down or in pocket. Anyone got experience?

Amazing! I always look forward to seeing your new shortcuts. I have a request for the first time. I travel a lot and have friends worldwide. With thousands of contacts in my iPhone, I often can't remember who lives where or if someone lives closer than I think. An awesome shortcut would be one that looks at all my contacts' addresses and tells me who lives nearby. Ideally, I'd choose if I want it to check the distance from my current location or a city I select. I'd also want to input a search radius in miles. It could output a list of people to my Notes app with their contact info or even give me the option to start a new text to one of them. How fun would that be? Thanks for considering it.

@@beardfm Yeah but after an app and/or shortcut is closed. Activate the shortcut back button with action button to return to last opened app/shortcut. A menu list would be cool too, with frequently opened apps or shortcuts.

@@beardfm Also a shortcut that’ll play music of my choice(audio file), when I open a certain app. Ex: When I open the App Store, it will automatically start playing the Wii shop channel background music and when closed or leave the app the music will stop playing.
