Yes! Waldgeist!! I've worked in Hofheim as a Paramedic for a couple of years. There were very funny emergencies in the restaurant mostly involving stomach aches and LOTS of food :D Glad you enjoyed it!

Last time I saw anything like this was on a specialist VHS tape back in the late 1970's. That was also a German production but the lady involved didn't have a beard, upper or lower. I will never therefore know if she was a natural blonde but her appetite for massive sausages was quite remarkable.

Hi you probably won’t see this but sadly a few days ago Megabites cafe in Scawthorpe Doncaster was set alight by someone (where you did the full monty challenge a few years ago) and there’s a go fund me page to get it back on track again, the owners are so lovely and are absolutely devastated by the loss of their community-built business 😢

A few weeks ago, we also visited Waldgeist in Hofheim. The XXL portions are impossible to finish for a normal eater. People tend to overestimate themselves quickly, which is why Waldgeist keeps a large supply of aluminum foil ready :D. In any case, the taste is absolutely good. It was a nice video :)

I was living in Frankfurt for 16 years. One time I was in Hofheim in this restaurant. I ate a giant "Schnitzel" but didn't finish it :) it was delicious.

Hey BeardMeatsFood love you youtube channel! Thx for entertaining me! Im from germany and i visited that "Waldgeist" restaurant myself in january 2024. I just wanted to say i hope you liked it in germany and that what you ate there wasnt an "Bratwurst" it was an Currywurst. Bratwurst looks a bit diffrent and its usally grilled with mustard and you eat it in and sandwhich like roll called "Semmel" if you are on the go. We eat it with sauerkraut and some kind of potatoes (cooked or mashed or so) and mustard too. Next time come to coburg its in Bavaria located in Oberfranken, we have the best Bratwurst there 😉.

I love this restaurant, I used to live nearby. Weird that you did not eat their record schnitzel plate with 3kg schnitzel and istead choose the small 600g sausage. They used to make schnitzel eating contests years ago back when I was living in Hessen.

No currywurst has a different taste and is thicker. Comes with frites and tons of sauce. Brats and unfair in Germany. Nothing like in the states. So good.
