I just went to Haldeman Mansion in June to ghost hunt. We had a lot of the same experiences you guys did, especially with Jacob! We were not allowed in basement or attic, however Jacob was very active in the summer kitchen attic and the main staircase in the mansion. We told him to go clean his room and our bear went off for the FIRST TIME EVER! He even had a full conversation with my boyfriend through spirit box. We did a flashlight session on the staircase and saw some thermal footage of a figure peeking down the steps. We even had a spirit say my brother's name and he wasn't even there! Saw a lot of shadows as well. Thought it was just me hallucinating but then one of the others asked if I was seeing shadows in the same spot he was. It was my first time ghost hunting and it was AWESOME. Haldeman is a fantastic place to go. Full of activity.

This is the real deal guys. Kudos to the person who did the viddo editing because it was easy to watch, constantly interesting, and great flow. I've watched some really good investigations but the video can sometimes be so boring to watch and you fall asleep if you know what I mean. GJ guys. Namaste.

Years ago 2006-07 I was with a team of investigators and we did the Haldeman mansion a number of times. We had a film crew on several occasions, which unfortunately didn't get made into a documentary. There is lots of thing going on there indeed. On one occasion we had a realtive of the Haldeman family and we recorded some great EVP in the attic with her. I had been there a number of times before as well but not investigations. Feelings were definitely there however. It is a Lovely place indeed and I know it well. We didn't have the technology you have today but we pick up plenty nonetheless. Bearfort Paranormal You are certainly correct about the Haldeman mansion. Did you know he used to correspond with Darwin? Lots of history there. A friend of mine who lives in Baimbridge once told me his experience with a group of his friends passing by in their car. There was a huge fire in back of the mansion and the summerhouse. They went up the drive to investigate. When they got to the top there was nothing, not a spark. Without anyone commenting someone said, let get the hell out of here! They did. Of course that was the site of the Native stockade for many years. Archaeological digs there produced some turquoise, a trade item. We live in a very ancient area. Thanks Again Kindly! DaveyJO

Yew we know about the Darwin connection. Have you been to the family cemetery plot down the road? It was relocated due to the quarry expansion. Fire story is weird!
