Here the latest News! Oratex is now FAA certified in the USA for Pipers, Stinsons, Aeronca Chief's, all Maules and Huskies, too. We have also gotten Field approvals for types not yet on the AML. We now also have a more interactive presence on Facebook as a public Group " BetterAircraftFabric " where we showcase planes and the use of the product. Customers are posting there as well... This is some news that will help out many that want to keep their vintage planes flying without spending big money on hiring the spray painting done. And yes, after Sebring, Sun&Fun, Anchorage, Valdez, we will be in Oshkosh at EAA again as always, this time with a new all-outdoor display including airplanes and hands on demos... Regarding EAA Oshkosh 2017 Airventure, we have a New location and will no longer be at the two old booth locations of previous years (2012-2016). We will be at booth number 300, a new outdoor display including an finished Oratex6000-covered Cub and a Belite that we are covering during the show. The New Outdoor Location of our booth its on the runway side of Hangar A, very close to where our old booth was within Hangar A ! Also be aware that we now have a public Facebook group called BetterAircraftFabric as well. We are posting much more photos of customer aircraft there then we could ever show on the website. Its also quite interactive as customers are posting there as well. We also have a New Catalog. Best Regards, Lars

How does the Oratex stand up to UV light?

It does stand up extremely well, and our special wax also has UV-proofing compounds in there, so with regular use of the wax one should be able to make it last almost for ever. I have some text pieces of it on an airplane permanently outside, and even with no wax used at all it does look the same to me after 8 years. Email me and I can send you pictures about it. We do send out samples as well.
