While I'm not a huge fan of Braxton Jones, I think the Bears should trade down to the late teens or early 20's of the first round to possibly get another 2nd rd pick or a couple of others. Bears need to go O-line but I think its the middle of the line that's most important at this time. I'm very high on the Bears drafting Tyler Booker G ALA with our first round pick.(Top guard in the draft and is a BEAST). Then with our first high 2nd round pick drafting Donovan Jackson G Ohio State. Tyler Booker and Donovan Jackson are both NFL ready now and could be solid above average starters for years to come.

But our run defense is horrid too. We need a starting DT and 2 guards. That's a must... that's all I'm getting at.

I do not agree that the o line is the wreck you think it is. The majority of the sacks were on none other than Williams......I have watched the all 22's and Jones, Shelton, Wright, Jenkins and even Pryer did pretty good. Yes there were communication issues - coaching, not players. Don't believe me - look at PFF...or better yet look at the tape! Ngl the Big Ten is ass. The only good teams are Michigan, OSU, PSU, and Oregon. So OSU LT is #4. Will Campbell has a dawg in him that can’t be taught I think he goes #1 or #2. Millum is a good ole boy from WVU and they got some damn good lineman that come outta there, I think he’s the sleeper. And then Kelvin Banks Jr is the #1 or #2 with Campbell, just some slight injury concerns there as well. I think any way you slice it, they’re gonna be an improvement compared to what we got now. Keep who we got, let them compete and whoever wins is the starter. PFF Ranked Wright 16th and Jones 18th best Tackles out of 87 Tackles (Both better than most starting Tackles). This draft class is incredibly weak OT and extremely strong OG, DE and DT class. The Bears would be better off looking to address DT or DE with their top pick and then a guard with the first second round pick.

The issue is there are bigger weakness on O-line and D-line than Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright. My Ideal draft is one of the top 3 D-line Man in the draft like Mason Graham. Draft an OG and DE/DT with 2 second round picks. If the Bears can sign a star caliber IOL in free agency, then use the draft to picks on a high-end young Guard and Center prospect. Jones is entering his last year on the rookie contract and next year's draft prospects at Tackle are a lot better than this year's group.
