I really like getting our depth in FA because that eludes to getting only elite players in draft. If we can arrange to have 5 picks in rounds 1-3, we'll be set. A WR, LT, C, DE, DT.

Was actually decent when he had to start last year in Green Bay. Very good backup safety which was needed. Outside of the QB debate, only need an edge, and two WRs left. And maybe center depending on how they view Bates. Still plenty of WRs on the market, and the edge market still has some quality guys. The WR class is also stacked, so if we enter the week leading up to the draft needing two WRs, don’t panic. This team is still trending up.

We need a true center, Bates is our interior swingman even if he starts at either guard position. And to get this line elite, we need to upgrade LT. We need 2 1sts & 2 2nds and a 3rd.

Once again, the Bears signed a player they really don’t need. Does this team not realize their immediate areas of need is D-Line & O-Line? There were some quality players there but Bears chose not to address those areas. I know they traded for Bates. But is he going to start? Who knows?! Even the Bears don’t have a clue. So far, this team has been disappointing in free agency. Hopefully they won’t be this disappointing in the draft. 😞
