I was feeling something recently, not knowing if it was depression or just my stupid ass wanting attention or just another episode of not caring about anything. I have been through long term stomach hell myself, and I promise better days are ahead. It will not always be this bad. It will improve, Even if it takes years like it did for me. Just take it one day at a time and try to find as many (healthy!) Distractions as possible to keep you out of your own head. Continually asking why me? Will it ever end? Ect....doesn't find answers, just causes depression. My relationship with God was definitely tested, but He got me through mine. Hang in there, friend! Know that you are not alone!!

The whole album is frikin fresh! Love the new branding with the album cover, the font, the color and everything. Heard some classic metal influence in some of the guitar parts, mixed with those huge beartooth chords and their iconic catchy and melodic choruses. Also really dig the variations of drums and riffs in the breakdowns. 4 out of 4 albums, they never miss!

Honestly my number two for AOTY this year. Also my most anticipated album of the year by far. Caleb just turned everything up to 11 with this one, the crushing breakdowns, the amazing choruses, heavy and gritty production and meaningful lyrics. To be honest the lyrics are just what I needed after feeling just fucking dead and having breakdowns because of the pandemic for literally 2 years, I was crying and headbanging whilst listening to Skin and No Return haha. The heaviness was so refreshing when most of the other bands are going soft because he also tried new stuff like in Dominate with the blast beats and deeper screams. 11/10. I never thought I’d ever say this but he’s topped Disgusting. This is my new favourite Beartooth album. You smashed it out of the park Caleb 🤘

This band is one of the only things keeping me alive right now. I'm going through some shit and basically im only happy when im listening to music. I've been contemplating suicide for a long time and Im not sure how much longer I can handle it UPDATE: I have started my medications and have yet to notice a difference but today is my third day so Im not expecting it to work instantly Edit 2: it's now 7 months Later. I saw beartooth live in September it was one of the best experiences ever. My meds are evened out, I'm coping with the stress and anxiety, and I've discovered more about myself. This kind of music really taps into the feelings of my youth. Its weird that eventually we do grow into our own skin, everyone does it on their own schedule, or maybe even not at all? Below is the mature disgusting. I wont give it up is the new beaten in lips. Below is the new the lines. Dominate is the new in between. The last riff is the new sick and disgusting. I feel like this albums proves that Caleb can talk about these issues and don’t let him restrain from going balls to the walls with the production. Blast beats, ambience, different drum tones, blues licks (rock n roll baby). It feels so refreshing to have a catchy, heavy metal/rock album without guitars that are drop D1 and heavy edited layers. @@thursdayfivenine3106 there’s quite a few that could’ve made a softer album but still raw sounding but decided to go with the overly processed and artificial sound. Examples in my opinion would be Memphis may Fire’s “Broken”, some songs off of Wage War’s latest album, a lot of a day to remembers latest album, bullet for my valentines “Gravity”, bmths “amo”, and probably others I can’t think of rn. I get having a different sound, but a different sound shouldn’t jus mean making the majority of it production/the singer. Examples of a good change up imo would be the softer songs on this album, wage wars song “gravity”, crown the empires latest album, bmth’s latest album, architects latest album and probably others. They sound like them, they sound raw, but aren’t as heavy as other things

This whole album is astonishing! I'm not a musician and I'm honestly easily impressed, but even i can tell it's an incredible piece of art and beautifully composed and performed. It's also so surprising reading the lyrics and seeing how few words there are when so much is being said and the imagery is so interesting and visceral. That's a gift as a writer that I aspire to! Can't wait for the tour, I hope there's gonna be purple pyro! 🤟🔥🎸💜
