I think Gohan going straight to Beast when Carmine popped back up at his house was a great thing. 1. Shows he can tap into the form at will. 2. Gohan doesn't mess around now if he thinks there's a threat to his daughter's well being(Be careful Frieza). 3. He didn't completely lose himself to rage and insta 1 tap Carmine. If he were actually struggling to control his rage, Carmine would be dust. I'm guessing Gohan brawls with Goku next chapter and is brought back to train with Broly/Goku/Vegeta as well as a new sparring partner. Gohan/Broly fusion to defeat Black Frieza?

Gohan definitely knows how to control Beast. I’ve NEVER seen anyone tap into their strongest form not in a life or death situation if you didn’t have full control of that power. Also, Gohan stayed in beast a lil bit after he defeated Cell Max. That too shows control of the form because he didn’t lose the transformation unexpectedly and he turned it off when he wanted to. Gohan’s beast form is what he’s been training for since Mid-Super.

I think Gohans beast form was symbolic to those daddy instincts that kicked in during super superhero in regards to his daughter. And I think with that in mind he won't let himself go back in power. As for Gohan fighting goku, I'm not sure if it was in the Manga but in the anime they had that all out fight where Gohan didn't want goku to hold back; Gohan promised to get stronger, now that he is stronger I think Gohan wants to prove to his Dad and himself that he can arise to any challenge and overcome it; standing on his own two feet, which embarrassingly he should have done all along, at least since cell. When it came to his own child it became a wake up call and put the same passion in him that Goku has always had that has pushed him to overcome foes like frieeza and buu. I think Gohan is done playing around when it comes to evil and that's why he goes straight ham from the start. I excited to see broly go against him as well as goku. This is going to be interesting.

Welcome back Sampai!!! Great to have your Dragonball thoughts and opinions again! I do think you guys are missing a significant point, At the end of the Broly film Frieza said that he'd wait for Goku to tame Broly before he swoops in and tries to recruit him. A great arc would be one where Frieza recruits several high power villains like Broly, possibly bring in the likes of Cooler and/or maybe Bojak to even things up. Even with his black form, he's no match alone again Goky, Vegeta, Broly and now Gohan. Perhaps his trip to Zuno is to to find information of fighters like this?

I like that "beast vs beast" prediction. Both Gohan and Brody need to master power or rage control. Gohan needs to fight willingly and not rely on trauma as motivation. Broly needs to stop senseless rages. Training with Whis or Goku will prepare Gohan and Brody for future battles. As for Frieza, I think he'll be killed off after causing trouble in other universes. I'd love to see Vegeta hakai him. The Black Frieza fight will prepare everyone for greater multiversal threats.

When Gohan went Beast it was as if he came back home to ssj2 (x100) In his adult body & mind he is already familiar with (🐅that next level feeling😈) when he snaps into that mode. It's as if he remembers exactly the feeling & who he is. Like the feeling Piccolo had when merged with that other namek in the Frieza saga: * " I'm awake, I'm alive, I'm wide awake" !* You can see it in Gohan's eyes & grin toward cell max that he knew felt back at home & was in full control of the new Beast power.

I feel...that because Goku showed concern that Broly would lose control, and Vegeta kept trying to provoke Broly to see if he would. Goku in addition to wanting to spare with his son, may also want to use the sparring session, as a reference for Broly to use for tapping into his rage, without losing control. He'll have a live visual reference of what he can accomplish or reach, by watching Gohan use his anger to trigger his Beast form, without wanting to just destroy anything and everything around him.

I really think Gohan didn’t necessarily access it at will but he DID control his rage. Because the only thing that could REALLY rev up Gohan to such a state is if the ones he cares about (especially pan) are in danger. In the movie (if y’all noticed) he powered up EVERY time pan was in danger and achieved BEAST when he saw piccolo near death. Which really comes into full circle as to how his character has been operating since his dbz days. Same with powering up against raditz. Goku (his dad) was in danger and Gohan practically exploded and tore a hole in the saiyan armor something Goku or piccolo could not do at the time.

What I would think would be a cool story is if Frieza finds out a way to kill all the GOD or angels without having to physically face them or kill the kais. Maybe he finds out about the demon realm and tries to release them which ends up with some person from the demon realm killing Black Frieza and that’s how one new arc begins maybe like evil versions of the angels? I want to see a new type of enemy that hasn’t been done before and something that’s actually threatening to more than just Goku and Vegeta.

A fight between Gohan and Goku would be interesting. I think Gohan is done with Super Saiyan, so when they do fight, he'll use his Ultimate form up until Goku uses TUI at that point, he'll go Beast Mode. I think Broly will continue his training with Vegeta and the latter will provoke him to become a Super Saiyan by threatening Cheelai and Lemo. Broly will learn to control it, but he'll still be afraid to use the full extent of his rage and power. That won't happen until they come into a crucial moment and that power is needed. It would be great if Gohan gives him a pep talk like 16 did for him back in the day.
