I think the reason people are disappointed is because of how much they built up Black Frieza and Ultra Ego. It would have been awesome to see those concepts explored in animation. It's like showing us a custom pizza with all our favorite toppings and then pulling it away to say we're having chicken. There is nothing wrong with chicken, but they got us in the mood for pizza.

Ppl need to understand that everything that come from current manga is a *secondary canon.* We could say Toyotaro is a 2nd author. Toriyama's original vision is superior as he didnt care about moro or granolah in his own continuation (movie)

Granolah already hits some of the notes Baby hits with saiyan guilt, so on one hand it would be redundant, but on the other it wouldn't be more timely than it is now, and it could add to those themes even further, and possibly develop Vegeta even more.

Came here to comment #1. No disrespect towards the new actress but Stephanie naldony made a much better kid Goku and Gohan. The new actress sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. Whenever I play as Gohan/kid Goku in a game, I have to mute it. Even if they don't pick her, they desperately need to find someone else

The intro of the Daima trailer had the longest focus on the SSJ4 scene so hopefully this is finally the time to shine. Pretty random but characters like Supreme Kai and Whis are perfect to give Goku and Vegeta "magical" clothes that grow and repair while going SSJ4.

Something I've always wanted to see in Dragon ball as a villain for Goku and the gang to go against and I though Moro would be like this; is the Idea that Goku and the Z fighters can't rely on transformations or KI to win a fight, they have to rely on their pure martial arts skills to defeat the villain or villains in order to defeat them. No SSJ, or blue, UI, no Ki blasts, not even powers like destructo disc or special beam canon. I think that could make for some really fun tension and possibly create a villain who can be as memorable as previous DB Villains.

I would say it would be: 1. Ssj4 2. A confirmation that XenoVerse happened offscreen but does not affect the main timeline which in turn makes the canon debate stop. 3. Cool fights 4. A good plot 5. A nostalgic feeling adventure 6. A sequel or reference to the first intro song. 7. Give shin some use. 8. Give Goku and others a way to use their none god forms but make it feel earned 9. Give the other cast something important to do when it fits. 10. Get more indev with the concepts talked about and seem to get introduced.

I've always said SSJ4 doesn't make any sense after getting God and Blue. However, given the premace that Goku is a kid again, they could explain it away as a new power he's had to unlock because his body can't handle god powers or something. There are two thing I would love to see in this show: 1. A training arc with Goku, Vegeta and Krillin at the same level. In the original DB, Goku and Krillin weren't so far apart so that would be cool. 2. Since this show will be heavy on magic and daemons, having a hint or mention of Moro, to keep the door open to a future DBS season, would be amazing. Great vid!

My hopes 1. Clear indications on where it takes place in the story 2. SSJ4, as long as it makes sense (wishful thinking) 3. Takes place at some point in Super, no need to place it in the past just to create retcons. 4. Broly involvement (if takes place after DBSB) 5. Based on the trailer it only looks like Z Fighters and affiliates were turned into kids, so if Uub isn’t reverted into a baby, perhaps he could fight alongside Goku 6. Mention manga events in specific, If it takes place after manga events 7. No God forms, but at least the ability to become Super Saiyan 1. 8. Utilizing fusion if needed, instead of a random power up 9. Even though he’s my favorite character, I hope Frieza isn’t in the series, unless he’s just mentioned 10. Ends with a clear indication of the DB story continuing

If they redo SSJ4, they may do it similar to Broly and imo it can only be Goku or Vegeta. Something deep inside much like the love Goku has for earth and his need to protect all his family and friends. Vegeta has those feelings now too, but maybe not as deep as Goku. I want this to be after Z and have them not get fully aged up at the end as a plot twist therefor extending the life of the cast for more content in the franchise and function as a soft reboot sort of like comics. Dayum. I can remember the early days of Dragon Ball Super, with all the theories, speculations about all the gods of destruction, all the symbols and so on by Oppai and the collabs with Geekdom. DB Daima surely could hold up the promising theories after theories once again. If this really would have a deeper dive about the Demon realm, with possible Xenoverse like Demigra, maybe Towa, and so many more, that is still pretty much unknown to us. Definitely wouldnt mind Broly, even something like old days of Kid Buu, the gods of the destruction Beerus, King Cold, Elder Supreme Kai getting turned into the Z Sword. And also possible appearance of Uub in that regard. And the Saiyans going the prime saiyan roots as well. Definitely could offer vasts of more suprises in/for DB Daima.

I'd like to see creative environments. Something similiar to JRPG's like Chrono Trigger. New kingdoms, villages, nature... What if Goku enters a place similiar to the Star Wars cantina and actually gets into a bar fight? Also, I want the Makafushigi Adventure theme to come back. Chala Head Chala has become sort of the theme song of the franchise. But Makafushigi to me still is Goku's theme.

Here are my top 11 wants for the new series: 1. Fewer to no new transformations 2. New villains who aren't associated with Frieza's empire or Red Ribbon. 3. Expanding the scope of the Dragon ball world beyond just earth, space and time-travel. 4. If they're going to explore new worlds/territory, let them be shrouded in mystery and secrecy. ( No past Saiyan involvement). 5. For the dragon balls to have negative repercussions whenever they are misused just like in GT with the shadow dragon arc. 6. A new type of Dragon Ball with distinctive properties. (No super dragon balls!) 7. Bring back the Kaioken and have the other characters learn it if the need may rise (i.e Krillin, Tien, Piccolo) 8.
