Looks similar to the frackers I used to manufacture. I had fun cutting these on a cnc machine and then taking it to deburr then immediately stuffing them. Sometimes I personally did all the work from raw forging to finished product and out the door. 4 days for one block if one person is doing all the work.

It's a mother fucker, but usually with a valve bar. Get the valve flipped sideways and you can usually pry up on the claws of the valve.

We powered down pumps that were “ jacking off “ lol and brought up others, extra horsepower just for that reason to maintain the rate typically 100 BPM at 3000 psi ; Mississippian formation at about 8,000 depth in central Oklahoma mostly. We would typically return to the yard in Yukon, OK ( BJ Hughes ) and swap valves seats, springs there. Never did a frantic swap for a speed record. We did that trying to get set up or break out though . 1981 through 83’ till the barrel price crashed.. I was also a Blender Tender ( 100 percent manual valves ) better have your shit tougher and did some Cementing

The new quints with the stay rods super close together make it a pain for packing. The spm keepers are easier to get in by hand with the 4 inch rather than the 4 1/2 I think. Put the front of the keeper at a big angle down and jam the back down and they are in. I've been fracing for about a year and found that out the hard way. Practice makes perfect
