STANDARD TUNING! I love playing Stones songs but get so sick of tuning back and forth to Open G. Thrilled to hear I don't have to do it for this one. Thanks Howard, love your lessons.

You are like the perfect Songbook of Guitar Hook songs. Those crazy small guitar licks that I would never have time to meander thru. Where were you in the the 70s, when I wanted to learn all your videos! There was nothing out there like your channel.... Just sheet music and tuning up a guitar to the family piano!

I used to be able to use my ring finger for bar chords, but I tore the 3 tendons off the tip. Now it is just a slight inward hook (after years of PT). I've been trying to use my pinky, with mixed success. I'll be giving that a shot. Cool!

Hi Keith - That's incredibly kind of you :-) But I just recently picked up a good old Cry Baby wah. It might be a good idea to hang on to it. I'm not sure if they're even manufacturing the Bad Horsie pedals anymore?

@@247GuitarwithHowardHart They might not make 'em. I bought the BHII in 2008 and never got along with it. I would love to send it to you because you do wonderful work for this community of a lot of us couldn't afford lessons and still learn a ton of Zeppelin, Beatles etc, just say the word and it is yours.

Howard.... could you recommend a replacement bridge for my old telecaster. It still has the original 3 saddles. After reading some comments on here individual string saddles are better?. Many thanks.!
@247GuitarwithHowardHart2 жыл бұрын
Those old saddles make it next to impossible to achieve proper intonation. I have what they call the "Traditional" bridge on my blonde tele... It's the one where you can see the springs at the back. It has an individual saddle for each string. But my favorite one is the "American Series"... The saddles are flat and look like little blocks. It's very comfortable on the right hand, and the intonation is very good. Hope that helps :-)
@chrisdodd61712 жыл бұрын
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart Thanks for that Howard...have a telecaster with the 'ash tray' from the 1970's ( I think) so will probably just play without it and get an updated bridge.
