The B boys didn't play Lollapalooza til 1994 (4th one) :) just saying..... I was at 1-3, and I don't remember much, but I'm sure they didn't play until after "Ill Communication" came out, and that was the spring of 1994. Memories mix together for me as time goes by, so I'm not trying to embarrass you, however, the main stage at L2 (1992): Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush......... Man, letterman was ALWAYS on point with the musical acts. I used to stay up late just to see the musical guest. We didn’t have KZbin back then, so you had to actually search out new bands/live performances. Go back and look at all the amazing acts he had on. Thank you Dave!

Looking back, it’s so funny to think my parents actually let me buy “Licensed to ill” with my first communion money in 1986. First tape I ever bought and it never left deck A in the box and it’s never left my regular rotation of “must listen to’s” at least a couple times a year. Just turned 40, so I’m gonna go ahead and say yeah! that album is timeless and so are the Beastie Boys.
