(TAS) Mario Party 2 - Western Land

This is my Tool-Assisted Superplay for Mario Party 2 - Western Land.
Tool-Assisted means I played the game frame-by-frame and used save states allowing me to redo certain parts of the game until each part was perfect. An example of this is creating a save state before I hit my dice, then reloading the save state over and over until I get the number I want, doing this allows me to pick which spaces I land on and also allows me to roll a triple 7 or triple 10 so I can get coins and move loads of spaces.
I pause the game often so I can manipulate RNG to control the luck of the game. This allows me to control what numbers the CPU players roll on their dice, what items we get and which minigames are selected.

Also, I cracked up at the minigames - Look Away and Face Lift especially. At first I thought Luigi would win Look Away by doing absolutely nothing... then I saw them all face viewer's left. Meanwhile, Face Lift can easily be one-and-done with 100 points in a TAS regardless of when you manipulate the character's face - I've seen one where the player did it to Yoshi in less than five seconds and went into "screensaver mode" for the rest of the minigame.

How does the hidden block manipulation work is it making so they appear on spaces you land on it are they already there and you are just able to see them?

I think it gets reshuffled as soon as the previous hidden block is found. I'd assume they use a memory viewer to see where it is, in order to manipulate it, because it'd be wildly impractical to manipulate it manually (and not fun writing software to automate it through that method that isn't *just peeking at memory* )

to put it simpler, after a random block is collected, it moves to another available space. the space it moves to is completely determined by RNG. and every time an event occurs (button presses, sound triggers, dialogue boxes, etc), the RNG value changes. beastly purposely uses button presses (since its the only thing he actually has control over) to manipulate RNG until he gets a value that places the next hidden block within his following turn.
