0:26 claims that Beasts "always go first," but i can find no mention of that in the rules booklet. The "tactical advice" section gives advice for how to play when the Beasts play second. Is the "always first" thing a limitation specific to the app?

You're right. Beasts can go first or second (or third, fourth, fifth, or sixth). I mixed it up with Dancer, who always goes first. Thanks for calling that out!

Please help me understand what happens with the Vulture from 15:21 to 15:28. What it looks like is that initiative phase 1 ends, the Vulture moves (noting that there are no init-0 units in play, so the battle is over), then it rewinds to initiative phase 2, and the Vulture gets to attack the enemy HQ when initiative 1 rolls around again. It looks exactly as if a whole new battle started at 15:26, but without the "Battle" banner at the start. i like to think that i understand the game reasonably well, but i'm completely befuddled as to what's happening in that snippet.

I don't know what happened. I was stunned, which is why I had a long pause after that battle. The best I can figure, it was a glitch in the app.
