The same problem I have while making a sample beat. I get carried away with using the loop instead of chopping it up.

I'm thankful for my fellow Gemini brother J. to the Filt and his ongoing wisdom obviously, but I'm also thankful for my family who has ALWAYS supported my passion for music and allowed me a chance to grow. I wish my Granny was alive to witness the release of my first instrumental album with today's technology. We have come a long way from the first 45 she ever gave me (which I still have). I know she's smiling down on me though. This is for U Granny. ;-) Nice video J. Filt. Thanks for all U do man. Have a great Thanksgiving week. Peace

It’s always helpful, J-Filt! Even though I’m an MPC 1000 guy, the techniques that you demonstrate transfer easily to whatever medium that folks are using. Slick!!

Bro I just ordered the “Chord Progression E Book” but didn’t realize that I could get a bundle with a few more books. Any way I can get the bundle and just pay the difference while you have the sale going on?

Wow this turorial is so helpful! I wanted to know if it would be good to start out with a more budget sampler and move my way up. I'm 16 and dont have a job yet but I like making beats and want to get a sampler eventually. Would you reccomend a budget option put of the akai line? If not do you have any other recommendations?

Damn!! I been doin this stuff for longer than I like to admit, been usin everything from Adat to protocols to ableton to iPad setups over the years, tons of wild resampling, wild chops, routing around the universe from this to that….and I’m feeling like the dumbest dude in history right now! from the basics of chops n recording n mixing to all the 20 step crazy resampling scaled up 20 times kinda techniques I been using n tweaking over the years, somehow I NEVER REALIZED how damn obvious it is to get a good bar by just taking the front half of the second repeat and the second Half of the first time it’s played to just combine them into a clean loop like this! It straight seems like something you should learn the second day you touch an mpc, yet it just did not occur to me! I been doing this ugly, sloppy ass workarounds n lately just using software that cuts audio files down into their separate instrument stems to get it a bit cleaner, but how did I not think of this one? Lol Thanks so much man, I love the channel and the techniques you put out there are always helpful n mad fast ways to level up the workflow. Kinda feel like you just taught me the alphabet while I been thinkin Im qualified to write an encyclopedia! But gotta stay humble right? lol GoddDAMN! I’m gonna need to wait til I get some sleep n start the next day to feel some fresh Confidence n shake off this “I’m fckn stupid!” vibe 😂
