I am in my element immediately transformed back to these days and the most brilliant music. I must buy another flute as i could back in the 70s play the damned thing just for my own enjoyment. I love to come back to this every so often when YT sends it around - the comments are my favorite part - to commiserate with fellow Tull worshippers in affirmation and adoration is as mystically uplifting an experience as hearing the music - much like I imagine hearing J.S. Bach play a new cantata each week at St. Thomas' in Leipzig would have been. Stand Up - was my first album, as a Junior in High School. I found This Was immediately after, and from there, until the time when Ian's voice began to wane - I bought and studied every piece - having taught myself to play flute, just as he did - and attended every concert I could within a few hours drive. It's been a lifetime's joy hearing the musical sermons of Sir Ian Anderson - and still going strong - with a new project that he starts each year. Thank you, Jethro Tull, et al; SDG, as Bach would say - "Soli Deo Gloria".
