The speedo isn't off, it was cal'd using a Garmin GPS. It ran over 100. (Have ran GPS verified over 103+) A radar gun may or may not be accurate depending on when/where it was cal'd. You should try doing the gearing math first before you make statements about what it did or didn't do.

All these new 1000cc giant 4x4 quads make it easy to forget all the cool old school shit that was made. The late 80s and 90s had fast quads too they just wasn’t 4x4. Well until the scrambler 400 4x4 came along which is what I still ride. 2 stroke plus 4wd is best of both worlds 👍🏼

I don't know if it has been discussed here, but once you guys got her warmed up and did the full speed runs, it sounds to me like you may be a little lean on your pilot jet. That wing-ding-ding sound it makes on deccel is usually attributed to being a little lean on the pilot jet... Nice run! :D

It was a little lean on the pilot as I changed to a super oxygenated race fuel for these runs. Same stuff in Laninovich' CR570 when I ran him. Thx Stevie

Dj Mystery I used to do it every day I’m 42 fixing to be 43 just rode today on a 2016 GSX-S-1000 hit at least 120-130 mph easy not even trying really just getting there. But I grew up on bikes and quads and lived in middle of bum fuck you gotta a petty mouth! 🤦🏼‍♂️😂 Hell we never had these phones and stuff all we had to do was ride so we got good at it! Damn do I miss that sound...brings back memories....my favorite out of all the 80ies 2 stroke back road bombers I had over the years....88 LT 500 RJ There is nothing like flying down a gravel road doin over 100mph on one of these bikes skating from side to side on what felt like a road of marbles and the wind trying to rip you off the back of the bike......unless you are riding an 85 ATC 250R which is a whole other level of fun.

yes the 500 is the fastest box stock. it is the king of the hill.. they stop make them in 90 250 92 no quad was out by it box stock... iv had 4. she is the king of the hill.. look 500 cc you tube. u don't c a 4stroke doing thes. no this is RAW POWER... thesecretfox1 send the engine cases out to Duncan, let them reset and sleeve the bearings. If you do anything to get those things making real power, it ovals out the bearing slots and youl be going through rings and pistons and cranks in record time and wondering why. Last I knew Duncan still does this service, and they are one of the best for that task

Fast quad! Love me some Suzuki got a faster one in my garage! New GSX-S1000 big ol beast of a bike weights 450lbs and makes around 160hp with lot of mods 21/2 custom exhaust, programmer, ecu flashed, short levers, rear foot pegs Removed and it’s a naked bike so it was already light and geared low little to low really can use first two gears past 7k rpm front wheel want stay down even with traction control on! I have to short shift 1st at 7k basically soon as it makes any power and clutch locks up! Then second I can hit 8-9k rpm short shift again then 3rd I’m out peg it to 100+ mph in just nothing. She pegs out at 168mph runs out of gear and is still pulling hard! I’m gonna go down a tooth on the back when ever I change it to give it some more top end I think it will actually be faster in the 1/4 like I said it’s geared to low!

Stock for stock lt500 all the way mod for mod banshee all the way. banshee has a lot more options than the lt500 the most popular sports quad to this day is a banshee to my opinion. I've owned both and once you mod them both the banshee is the winner

I had Brand new Honda 99 400ex before. I tested a car beside it. It said 74 Mph. If some people can't do it. Depends when u shift it right before redline. Four gear i went a little over redline 300 RPM to shift in fifth. Maybe that's why not sure. Fifth gear is little high. If u mod it. Least give u some range for speed.

This ATV Suzuki LT 500 is the fastest in the world for stock !!............. Banshee only 350cc wake the f**k up lol. Banshee has 48Hp. Quadzilla 500 has 65Hp. So Banshee won't even touch it lol. Unless Suzuki LT 500 (Quadzilla) is worn out lol

And I can kick start my Banshee sittin down so while your struggling to kick all that compression about 6 times befor it even starts, by that time I'm a Mile and a Half away already and the cops front bumper just pulled up onto your back tires. So goodbye Quadzilla. There's a Reason why they stopped making the Quadzilla and continued the Banshee for another 20 years.. Because it's an all around Better Quad

My Buddys parents bought him one back in H.S. He let me drive it several times (and yes his parents were filthy rich!!! lol) The thing was fast, but not 100mph fast. Ive raced motocross for several years and ridden some pretty 60+ Hp CR500's and KX 500's... Those gauges are very unreliable. There's a video of a guy on a simple bolt on 660 Raptor saying he went 116mph. The cell phones app speedo's are much more accurate.
