It's crazy what plugins can do now. You can save a ton of money on gear (except for microphones and audio interfaces) with this Nectar 2 software.

Microphones save money too, usb ones

+IceBreaker165 I used to own one of those. M-Audio Producer USB, now I have the Focusrite Scarlett bundle with the red and black microphone.

Hi, I understand these are auto generated harmonies which go just like the lead vocal but what to do when we want some variations? like putting some specific words on different scales & tunes?

The chain of FX can be altered too (except Pitch, which has to be first).

Thanks for your overview. I got it yesterday for $199, I think there is lot more to learn for me. Can you suggest the processing steps for thick low vocals?

No wonder every vocal heard in the radio sound kinda the same. This plugin is a winner, same for Ozone and Alloy!

what is the different between nuetron and alloy from izotope?

hi, I hope you see this and be able to answer my question. I just installed nectar 2 and applying harmony's to one of three vox tracks. what i'm hearing is that weird distorted noise one gets from overusing vox pitch correction. do you know how I can stop that? I've watched the clips from isotope and I can't get my vox to sound anything like that.
@gdayal910 жыл бұрын
yes , you will have to pull back on the "pitch correction amount " & time parameter, and reduce amount of "correction"" used.. That should give you more natural results.. these are located on the left lower corner of the plugin, when you open the harmony module
@JoeyPinter10 жыл бұрын
Gaurav Dayal thanks for your response, I will try that today. i'm wondering if the original vox needs to be pitch perfect?
@beatfactoryacademy10 жыл бұрын
It would be good to be in a decent pitch area.. but thanks to harmonies.. , they can sometimes hide the pitch issues of the main vocals..

Good video. I think I missed some of wgst you were saying....I'm a philly dude and tough picking up on the accent. I just picked up n2 trial and love it. Gonna mess with my voice a little, which shockingly is worse than yours.

thanks again, i'll keep working on it. there is another tutorial on you tube where a producer/engineer is working with a chick and it sounds wonderful. of course all this could be avoided if I had any talent.
