0:41 whoever said this is incorrect, the actual first custom map is titled "Nazi Zombie Subway (The Last Christmas)" which came out on december 4 2008, with dead sand coming out on april 4 2009, but for the sake of this video dead sand is probably the more interesting map

@@Renzaru i got my information from call of duty repo which is a website with basically every custom zombies map along with their release dates (including both dead sand elite and the original version), also you can find videos of nazi zombie subway from 2008 if you search up "call of duty zombies nazi zombie subway before:2009" in the search bar typing this again as youtube hid my first comment

Not to mention it's winter here right now and it's 25°c tops every day until night then it gets down to about 15°c overnight. Bruh how can first custom ever made feature perks, let alone perk bottle pick bonuses? Perks were added since first waw dlc, and perk bottle pickups first appeared on first dlc map for bo1. There was Christmas themed map that plays similarly to nacht der untoten without any perks and that has to be the first custom zombie map ever before toolkit was even released.

It’s the popular franchise called Call of Duty. It’s sold 425 million copies as of October 2023 and has many instalments under different tiles such as Black Ops and Modern Warfare. In this particular video I play the Black Ops games, these being Call of Duty World at War (2008), Call of Duty Black Ops 1 (2010), Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (2012), and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 (2015). In these games they usually entail 3 modes that one can play, these being the campaign, multiplayer, or Zombies. The mode I play in this video is the Zombies mode, a mode where you try to survive as long as possible by buying new weapons from the chalk on the walls or the mystery box, and perks that are found around the map, some of these perks are extremely helpful for example Juggernog, which allows the playable characters to obtain more health which means they can take more hits from the Zombies before they enter the downed state. To keep it short, for context of the video I play the games from World at War (2008), to Black Ops 3 (2015) and check out the community made maps for the Zombies mode, these are commonly referred to as Custom Zombies Maps, the maps I play in this video are as followed: • Dead Sand - Commonly associated as the first every custom zombies map made by the community back in 2008. • The Simpsons Map - A custom zombies map based on the hit cartoon The Simpsons made 1989, a show about a family and there daily activities, the custom zombies map in question holds a special place in my heart as it is very nostalgic. • Facility - A remake of a map made for Call of Duty Black Ops 1 exclusively on the DS. Although not an official port over to Call of Duty Black Ops 1, this is technically another map that is on Call of Duty Black Ops 1. • Perish - Referred to as one of the best Custom Zombies maps made for Black Ops 1, taking place in France, you must survive against the hoard of Zombies while collecting entities to Alice’s Diary. Fun fact this map taking place in France (specifically Paris) is based on the DLC map moon originally being a map that took place in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. • BO2 Minecraft - One of only 2 custom zombies maps to exist on Call of Duty Black Ops 2, this map turns the Call of Duty Zombies map Buried (2013) into a minecraft themed survival map where the goal is to reach the end of the long corridor and buy the buyable ending which costs 50,000 points. • Fabrik Der Untoten - Commonly known as the first “good” custom zombies map for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, made back in 2016 when Mod Tools for Black Ops 3 had just come out, this map added a lot of iconic features that are now a stable in the custom zombies community such as Banana Collada, a perk that increases your slide length and adds a liquid behind you that makes zombies slip over. • Mirage - The final map I play in this video and the most recent to be released. This map is based of the Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) map Mirage and even shares the same name.
