12:59 glad to see the world leading gran turismo penality system is alive and well. The dude goes on a 20 second rampage slamming into every car on the road and gets no penalty at all, yet at the start of the race he puts an inch of tire on the pit line after being pushed and gets slapped with a penalty. I really think the only way to fix these kind of "special" drivers would be to either have a penalty system that WORKS, or to just have damage enabled for all ranked playlists where a single intentional ram would likely end the race for them.

Online racing games should have same kinda overwatch system as csgo has, mass of players reviews reported player, and mass chooses if they get penalized for their actions, some ends for 45 day ban due griefing and some perma banned from the game. Would work for racing so well.

There is a reason why the cars on that race are Civics...cheap and plentiful...not painful to r4m On a side note about the track...the house along the main straight is Wayne Rainey's (3-time in a row GP500 champion) and the "turn" after the Corkscrew (turn 8 and 8a in the older days, might have changed) has been named Rainey Curve. And even though it used to say Mazda Raceway, Yamaha had poured some money on renovating the track for safety improvements to resume GP racing

Something in Race A events should change. So far it looks like they're the place for more "experimental" kind of races (the rallycross for example) but locking your ratings and essentially allowing you to do whatever you want is a recipe for a disaster, as it can be seen. Imagine entering sport mode with some high hopes, watching the racing etiquette video etc. and end up in a race full of chaos, such as Steve's... Race A should be a ranked race!

This race was ranked but I think everyone didn't realize it was, likely because previously this race was reserved for no DR/SR changes races so they drove like wild animals. Although, even in previous non-ranked races, the level of dirty driving has never been insane like it was on this track
