6:59 To be honest, there is a good reason to go down there, the Dragon Greatsword. Since you can find a couple of dragonscales up to blighttown and in ash lake, it is possible to upgrade it and smack Quelaag's head in. Granted it needs 50 strength investment to one-hand it, but "only" 34 to two-hand it. Also, I know that this is for a probably first playthrough guide, but if you know how to get down to ash lake without needing to use any of the bonfires, you can just homeward bone all the way back up
@NexusKin2 жыл бұрын
You can also get 10,000 souls from the Ash Lake Hydra if you manage to run all the way past it to rest at the Stone Dragon bonfire without dying. When you start to go back, the Hydra will end up committing suicide because it gets trapped by the big tree. Then you just have to make it all the way back up to Andre The Blacksmith so you can buy the Crest Of Artorias from him.

guide: magic damage sloth: i didn't pick pyromancer, but this lightning buff should help
@hyperfine36332 жыл бұрын
13:50 - Whenever I'm doing Four Kings I use the bonfire in the rocky tunnel between the end of the Valley of Drakes and Darkroot Garden, near where the Grass Crest Shield is. You can just go down the elevator, across the bridge, and straight into the wooden buildings in New Londo with (relatively) minimal resistance. I'm not sure if it's shorter but it's definitely easier!

I keep seeing lot of comments about the formatting, but honestly I think the formatting is great! These videos are awesome!! If you actually see this comment PLEASE don't change your style!!! These videos are so fun to watch!!

I appreciate that! It can definitely be better, but I think the overall format is something I’m really happy with. Definitely can be refined tho.

about bows, even if u don't intend to use it as a main damage source, it is good for baiting enemies and making some situations smoother

Ok why are KZbinrs with less subscribers better then most popular KZbinrs. It’s like indie movies and stuff. Great vid👍

Thank you Stick Boy! Your support is greatly appreciated, for real. Not to be too much on my fuck-the-establishment type shit, but I’ve also noticed this a lot recently with smaller channels being the fuckin heat and it’s so sick. I think a big part is that people with channels that aren’t paying the bills can do quite literally whatever they want and have very little/nothing to lose. I understand why people mellow out and become more advertiser friendly as they grow, but it is still really sad to see sometimes. Regardless, I’m glad you’re here and hope to see ya around.

You think I got stuck in the great hollow after I killed quelaag?! HA!! Jokes on you I got stuck there BEFORE quelaag and spent 4 hours trying to no hit my way out of blighttown in order to get back to firelink to remove the curse since i had never picked up a purging stone.
@AquaSloth Жыл бұрын
Dog, this the shit I’m talking about! There are so many hoops you have to jump through just to get back that it’s crazy to not only rest at that bonfire, but RECOMMEND resting at that bonfire

6:47 I just wanna say that this is exactly what I did in my first playthrough of dark souls. I went all the way down, to the dragon covenant, got cursed, and went all the way back up. never again lol
@peregrine44302 жыл бұрын
Dude same I immediately got cursed then I farmed the clams because they can drop purging stones it was awful

O.k. I liked and subscribed mid video. I love this. And , I will ask for more dark souls. The game bro, it's too good. Play it and share more. But I have a comment for ya buds. "The guide is like 800 pages , and no where is there any mention of a build. Or anything about builds" something like that , you said ... Well. 22 minutes 15 seconds in here, and I haven't seen a dedicated statistic screen about your build either Son. Strength DeX. That's all you tell us? Bruuuther.

This guide is also not the intended route. Pinwheel gets pub-dunked by everyone because his balance is built around the expected level after the Capra Demon. You’re supposed to have 20 estus for most of the game, and here I was, my first ever playthrough. I only had it for Nito, and Bed of Chaos…..

I think the only time I've ever done a magic build is demons souls. That was the only time it was fun for me. Dude your video was awesome. The jokes were funny as hell and you kept it entertaining. I'd like to see you make more
