My grandson loves your videos. I don’t understand all this elden ring “gamer” business but I sure don’t mind when my grandson puts your videos on in the living room. He says he tries to play like you. ❤ My grandson says he’s been waiting on a new video for sometime, glad to have your video playing in the living room again. I cook my husband Harold dinner in the kitchen and listen to you when my grandson puts your video on in the living room. That’s how we watch your videos when he comes to visit. Harold gets aggravated at me when I laugh, but sometimes I can’t help it. Even though I don’t know what you kids are talking about half the time. My grandson knows all the “gamer” slang so sometimes I ask him. You’ve got your whole life ahead of you. This game you and my grandson play looks pretty sometimes but sometimes it gets too scary so I have to scurry back to the kitchen! Like I said, Harold gets aggravated at me for listening to your videos but in my defense, it gets the dinner done faster for my hungry boys. My grandson is usually ready for dinner after watching one of your videos. My Husband Harold is always ready for dinner. Lol! P.S. you don’t need to use so many crass swear words, you’re a handsome and funny young man without them. ❤

Very entertaining video. Great work. A thing about all the name in Elden Ring is that it is probably George R. R. Martin is responsible. In one of the older interview they asked how did he come up with the name in GOT. He said that at first when he learnt how to write story, he was taught that different characters should have different syllables to avoid confusion and he did just that. However as he started to wrote more complex story, there are more than 26 characters in the story and he was out of option. So he decided to follow the historic naming of the medieval period that each house hold or noble family will have a similar name with each other to show their blood line. That is how all of the name in GOT was created and so did Elden Ring character name. It make total sense and fits with human history. The entire, Rykard, Radahn, Radagon, Renala, Renna, Ranni and Godfrey, Godwyn, Godefroy, Godrick, Godstock, Moughgwyn, Morgot, Margit also Marika, Malenia, Melina, Miquella, Maliketh and some other like Placidusax, Granssax, Fortisaxx, Lansseaxx are all totally easy to understand and not confusing at all. 15:16 About Thopp. He got kicked out of the Akademia for pursuing developing a new type of magic (thus he is not wearing the burger king crown). After you give him the key, he could comeback and finish his research. Finally finishing his spell. That is a little sad. 26:07 I think they are intended that player could not get pass Draconic Sentinel and going exploring the Altus area which also lead to the Mount Gelmnir and Volcano Manor. 33:00 The Frenzy Flame Proscription is where my mind is blowned by the connectivity of Elden Ring. There is a illusory wall right next to the grace which lead to the Deeproot Depths area. At first we went to the Deeproot Depths through teleportation which made us never know how or where it is physically of the overall world, it feel like a separate area. However after reaching it through the Frenzy Flame Proscription, all the going downward make sense. We went down the sewer, we went down a hidden catacomb, we went down a lots but never actually know where it lead to. It would be a disappointing if all that just lead to a room. And boom, it is an entire area that connected with the previous area that we have always wondered how to get there physically. It is obvious that the Deeproot Depths is under the Erdtree itself when you think about it. It made me very happy that Fromsoft didn't hold back at the world design and connectivity at all. It also make the incredible world building on par with LOTR seem more believable as player can experience it themself. 44:33 To be fair, Gideon deserves that level of disrespect for summon. We just killed gods and literal embodiment of death and he challenged us thinking he could win. Oh wew Gideon if you think so then let my Rat beat you.

The Radagon/Elden beast fight has been the bane of my existence. In 10 play throughs of this game, I figured every other boss out except the above. I”d eventually beat the fuckers, but totally stressed out. I watched many videos on strategies specially for those two, and nothing really great, still a bitch for me. Then I watched this video and noticed the Colossal sword you were using, and it came to me. Use that with Lions Claw on the f--ing elden beast. I was already using blasphemous on Radagon, and EUREKA!!! I’ve been playing this game for a year and dreaded the elden beast encounter every time. The combo above annihilated the beast with ease. I know your video wasn’t about defeating the end game boss, but I guess I should thank you, my main problem with this game has been solved….

@piedpiper1172 Жыл бұрын
Pest threads is hilariously OP vs Elden beast. Just hug the bug and launch threads. Every single thread will hit, often more than once. Plus the spell has a tiny Faith requirement, so just upgrade the “oh, you didn’t level Faith?” seal-I think it’s the one the pilgrim starts with? Anyway. It’s my go to for any build at all to pump out cheese damage vs the bug.

1.o radahn still exists, they reversed the unintentional nerf on him
@AquaSloth Жыл бұрын
Oh shit, I thought he was like totally broken in 1.0, they nerfed him to shit in 1.2 or whatever, and then he ended up in a weird middle ground area for the latest patch. I had no idea!
@anonymousperson8903 Жыл бұрын
@@AquaSloth You are right. He is in a middle ground now. He still has 8-10% decreased damage, slower arrows and meteors that track less, AoE's that emerge slower, and much smaller hitboxes. So many misinterpreted Fromsoft as 'reverting' the nerf. Instead they fixed only the parts that they accidentally over-nerfed.
@AquaSloth Жыл бұрын
Okay, that’s what I was thinking but I wasn’t totally sure; thanks! I thought I remembered people mentioning that 1.0 was like broken broken, then they over nerfed, then he ended up (now) in a state weaker than 1.0 but stronger than 1.2. Thanks for the confirmation!

Given how strong spells are in all FromSoft games since DeS, I think mages beat ER the way FromSoft intended 😁
@AquaSloth Жыл бұрын
I honestly kind of wish they would talk about the magic stuff more in the guides. They go over it in the beginning in regards to the classes, but never really touch on it again in any of the guides I’ve read (DS1, DS3, and ER)

22:35 you can kinda get a somber +9 (+22.5 in regular stones) by killing 1 boss before margit
@AquaSloth Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I knew the special weapons that use the sombers were an option, I just chose not to take that path. They do have a level for those as well! At 6:42 you can kinda see that second number (the +1) which is for sombers.
