I think of Morgott as a chess grandmaster. He is really wise and used to think further than others, and to play like him, you need to do the same thing. He's kinda weak because of his healthbar, but if you can do THE COMBOS it's pretty goood character. Thank you!

It's so cathartic to see Morgott getting his revenge. He was such a tragic and loyal character. I had nothing but respect for him once I learned what his backstory is and all he had done. Rest in peace Morgott. You may not have had the strength befitting an Elden Lord, but you were a noble king, an accomplished warrior and a worthy son of the Golden Lineage.

With his focus on versatility and his need to dodge around, Morgott almost feels like a demi-god version of the player character. Morgott even basically rose from nothing, having been banished to the sewers as an infant, and became prominent in a world that hardly even heard of him, akin to the Tarnished of no renown. It's cool to see that you can live up to his earned reputation here, even if Morgott probably wouldn't proc Phase 2 at will. By the way, how many times were you able to proc bleed damage without the Bloodflame attack? Morgott's sword does build up a bit of bleed in the boss fight, but it feels so low that I don't think I've even seen one case of it activating ever. Thanks for the great videos!

Love the video. Morgott is a menace when a player has access to his moveset. i hope they add a PvE patch at some point to address the issues with the mid-game scaling. Morgott, Fortissax, and other bosses in this general area of the game seem too weak if the player does even a little side-content. They're still a bit challenging, but I'd expect the 3rd strongest (known) Ancient Dragon and also the most threatening Demigod in the first half of the game to both be a fair bit stronger than what they are currently. Morgott needs more Stance value, more physical defense, and maybe a bit more HP. He has slightly more than 10k HP where-as Radahn has over 9k... There's half a region and legacy dungeon between them, so I'd expect Morgott to be given more. I am genuinely surprised that he didn't have an additional phase at the very start of the fight. He used illusions to try and stop us throughout the game (2 Margits and an illusion of Godfrey), so imagine if, before revealing his identity and sword, he sits on the throne, puts up a barrier in front of the throne, and begins summoning avatars of the Demigods who were part of the Sovereign Alliance as they were during the wake of the Shattering... a weak Godrick, Ranni in her physical form, Rykard in his original state, Radahn before he got to his largest size, and so on... It'd be some cool lore details. Maybe he only summons based on the shard-bearers defeated up until that point in order to keep it fair for players who are trying to follow the main path (Godrick if you defeat him. Ranni if you defeat Rennala. etc). Then after you defeat them, the real fight starts. OBVIOUSLY STUFF LIKE THIS WILL NEVER BE ADDED IN A PATCH, BUT HEY, MAYBE THEY'LL REALIZE THEY MADE HIM JUST A LITTLE WEAK AND GIVE HIM THE BUFFS I MENTIONED EARLIER... Fortissax needs more physical defense and HP, but honestly could use faster attack animations for his glaive and 2-spear attacks since they are way too telegraphed.

Morgott's amazing moveset makes every fight against him a spectacle. Its a shame he doesn't get similiar scaling to the mountaintop bosses despite guarding the area. I was underleveled for his fight so it made it pretty challenging to beat and one of the hardest bosses for me during my playthrough.
