Well, it depends on your build and experience. I played without summons for the first time so they were all pretty much the same to me. Because I had to learn the base game fights too, I just spammed Rock Sling while my Mimic tanked last year. People forget how much they have practiced the base game fights, that's why they feel easy. But if you take Scadu levels seriously, then the DLC is not harder. It is funnier though. And people have already found multiple ways to break it, perfumes and Greatshield pokes being 2. And none of the new bosses are harder than Malenia. Except maybe Radahn.

@@fishnutz5196 Malenia took me 6 hours and I was even lucky with RNG, she is basically as hard as Radahn the first time you fight her. But people forget how hard she used to feel, because of all the practice. Rellana was a joke in comparison, not even 10 tries. And the same goes for most of the others. The only real tests are Messmer, Bayle and Radahn. Unless you play with 0 Scadu levels. Or maybe my build was just too much of an easymode, Brass Shield and Serpent Hunter carried me through everything. I'm glad I didn't try a Greatshield because that would have made it too easy.

@@jackkelz2000 I think they also nerfed it recently so that blows. But I got the unpatched version so yeah lol, next to nothing can interrupt you. Status effects and MEGA slam attacks and I'm talking MEGA like a dragon falling on your face but even then lol... Sometimes you weather the storm. I did notice that horrible louie can knock you out of it easy with his axe. Dood is a crazy mf. And grab attacks will take you out of it too so it's not full proof. Also short range and takes a sec to pull off so you do need a good bit of armor and poise to stomach the abuse. So like all weapons it's not perfect and has its ups and downs. One things for sure though... IT's up there in terms of pretty baller pve weapons.

Siblings cursed like Malenia and Miquella as they are born from Marika and Radagon also. The abyssal serpent for Messmer and siblings that both have ties to the flame. Melina is the Gloam Eyed Queen and both her and Messmer have sealed eyes. This has huge lore implications as it means Radagon has been around longer than we realised as they most likely split in the same way Miquella split from St Trina. So yes this dlc confirmed ALOT about Melina. We already knew Melina was the GEQ from the Frenzy ending and wanting to return Destined Death to the lands, the dlc just confirms she broke her seal in that ending the same way Messmer broke his in the boss fight. Also if you go to Sharmans village (Marikas home) the incantation Minor Erdtree is stated to only be known by Marika, yet we see Melina using this exact spell in the fight against Morgott.

Not even gonna lie. The only way I’m making it through most bosses is with my mimic and +25 stone slab shield. I’m also at 11 scadutree blessing and 6 for my summons. For me the DLC is a challenge and I do think it’s hard but I’m not complaining. I’ve always had the impression that they’re meant to be hard. I had to learn to control my button presses and be very deliberate. I learned early on that you can’t be a button masher in souls games lol

moore only shows up after you convince him that life is worth living/to put it all behind (ironic) freyja shows up after giving her ansbach’s letter, which is fitting since they’ll both meet each other on the battlefield thiolier would never join leda and so wouldn’t ansbach since they serve different masters respectively so the easiest way to do leda’s fight is probably to not talk to moore/convince him to… erm…, help leda with hornsent or help hornsent then off him at rauh, and to not talk to freyja. that way, only leda and dane show up i think

Depends on the weapon, like if it's in the last area or the middle of a dungeon you might be screwed, but quite a lot of them you can get relatively early by beating radahn yourself, doing varre quest early + summoning or cheesing for Mohg and then grabbing the weapon

Just enter the DLC early and then bring the weapons out, the only bosses you need to kill in the base game to enter the DLC are Mohg and Radahn or just use them in ng+

I desperately wanted to make Martial Arts work for the DLC Final Boss, but the lack of range and bleed buildup made it too depressing (and the L1 on my controller is broken so I couldn't even try using the Sekiro tear for safe guard counters), ended up getting it done with a Blood Twinblade. Such a fun weapon though, I used Dryleaf Arts to beat literally everything else in the DLC as soon as I picked it up

I didn't see half these boss's moves because from post Rellana until just before final boss, I high-poise, high-vigor'd through everything with focus palm. Bosses absolutely fuckin melted. The final boss was too overwhelming, so i switched to sekiro tear and learned him intimately
