Really appreciate all the detail and care you put into this video. I was curious about the Color TV-Game since it was Nintendo's first foray into the home console market, and I feel like I got a lot info just from the first few minutes here.

I recently found out that the differences between the controls of the Color TV-Game 6 and the Color TV-Game 15 wasn't actually a 6 Vs 15 difference. Both of the consoles started with the worse controls, and both were updated later on. I just so happened to grab an early version of 6 and a later version of 15. I guess that makes my comparisons between the two a little less fair, since I had the better version of 15, but I guess you could see this a review of the model differences as well.

How many times can Nintendo re-Pong Pong? 🕹

First of all, compliments to your videos! Beating every Nintendo game is a great idea and I'm glad your channel was recommended to me! It's great how detailed you described what "every game" means to you. I'm still wondering what "beating" means to you though. I keep track of what games I beat, and it's not so easy to come up with a clear definition. For example, when you see the credits of Super Mario 64, it means you've played between 50 and 100 per cent of the game. Endless games like Tetris make it no less complicated. I wonder where do you draw the line, at what point is a game considered beaten for you? I guess you redefine this depending on the game?

Good question! It is as you said, it will ultimately need to be redefined for each game. For most games, this is pretty clear. See the ending and watch the credits roll. For games like Mario 64, I will view the credits as beating the game, and anything else counts towards 100% completion. If I enjoy the game enough, I will likely go for 100%, and I expect this will happen often. For some games this may not be as obvious, such as multiplayer focused games and high score chasers. I will do my best to come up with some kind of win condition for each game, but there will inevitably be some titles where this is impossible. In those cases, I just want to play the game enough to feel like I have experienced every major component the game has to offer.

So basically it is brief lessons and reviews in nintendo games? Great video series tho :D

Yeah, the main motivation behind these summary videos is that I think there may be people who are interested in the games I am playing, but don't necessarily want to watch hours of stream VODs to see them. These videos will summarize my time with the games and end with a quick review. Glad you are enjoying them!
