The reason this guide is the first one to call them shiny pokemon is because this is the first game with the shiny charm. It wasn't until Gen 5 that The Pokemon Company officially adopted the term "shiny" instead of "alternate-colored"

I replayed White 2 this past month, and managed to complete every film that wasn't postgame-locked before ever leaving for Castelia. They gave me so many Moomoo Milks, Lemonades, and Old Gateaux that I never needed to buy healing items again, and I got to roleplay throughout the whole game as a famous actress-turned-Gym Challenger :)

Belive me, try it if u can(and want to, of course) because there are all kind of stories, some more basic, some more crazy. Or if it's too much, u can see them all on KZbin. But it takes away the fun part of the strategic planning to get the endings

I even tried to do this before leaving the first visit of Pokestar Studio. My whole team has the star effect upon entering battle for this reason which was hilarious. How to enjoy this? Guess what, the strange endings for some films are really wacky. And at least for the first time it's interesting to see what films they bring up, most of them have very obvious real world movies reference I believe. There are also some so freaking difficult plots, like there's this one that needs you to beat the opponent with the move Astonish, that was a pain to do.

Answering some of your questions or just giving some facts: 8:43 You didn't find rustling grass before the first gym because the rustling grass gets unlocked after the first gym, which is why Bianca talks to you about it when she gives you the Habitat List for the PokéDex when you try to leave Floccesy Town after beating Cheren. 14:32 Sure, you can't use Join Avenue at its full power, but you can still level it up very easily. A lot of people think you just can't but random npcs appear every day, I believe the first days (while your avenue is still at avery low level) only like 4 people appear every day but after leveling it up a bit, which doesn't take long for the first few levels, you reach the cap of 10 npcs visitors per day. And Gym Leaders can appear too after beating the league and they give SO much more points, regular npcs give about 150 points if you guide them well but Gym Leaders give a thousand points, so don't do like I did and actually level it up after you've beaten the league because the avenue's maximum level is 100 and it takes *so many* points/days to even get it to level up one single level after the 40th level. 15:22 Yes, the Big Stadium and Small Court function depending of the time. At some hours there will be games being held and you won't be able to challenge the trainers, but also at different days you'll encounter different teams, like sometimes it's basketball, or soccer, or football, or baseball, or tennis. But basketball and tennis only appear at the small court, the others at the big stadium. And the amount of trainers increases with badges and milestones like beating the league, and also the rewards and levels and Pokémon species/amount. A great feature to get a good chunk of extra exp every day! Nimbasa really has so much going on, with that, the Musicals, the Battle Institute, the Battle Subway and more. Even Join Avenue since right next to the city. 23:11 Undella Town is NOT a new town in Black 2 and White 2! It's a postgame town in Black and White. 29:49 The password changes in every game, it can be either Reshiram, Zekrom, 2202, 7707 or 9909 according to Bulbapedia. I actually thought the passwords could be Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, and everything from 1101 to 9909 (so 2202, 3303, etc), I'm sure I read that somewhere, but I'm not sure if I've ever gotten any password that weren't those 5 I first mentioned so probably it's just those 5 possibilities. Maybe those other passwords were only in the Japanese games. 33:42 Weird, you said on Castelia City that you were looking for the 3 harlequins. If you did that and talked again with the harlequin that gave you the Bike right outside the pier, he'll give you a rare candy. 35:18 Maybe it says so because Marshal's Throh has Rock Tomb, Sawk has Rock Slide and Conkeldurr has Stone Edge. And yes, this game has so much content. And stuff you didn't even do like the musicals, Pokéstar Studios, the medals and all the postgame, including catching legendaries and the about 3 battle facilities though Black Tower/White Treehollow don't count because you can gain experience in them but who cares, it's a challenge centered in battles, it's a battle facility. Two actually because if you've beaten one and have the key to switch to the other game's location, you'll have to beat the other one as well, it's not like the game thinks that you've beaten Black Tower because you've beaten White Treehollow, which is great. Some years ago I was completing the game and thought that I wouldn't be able to do White T becasue I had completed Black T but got nicely surprised! And you can even use some HMs in some rooms in them, like Surf, Cut and Strength. So much fun completing these games, you always have something else you can do. And a special mention to Pokéstar Studios, the Hidden Grottoes, the whole Dropped Item quest and rewards (you can look it up on Bulbapedia) and the seasonal battles with N and his weather teams because I really like those features! And rest in peace, beautiful Dream World. And the Funfest Missions were really good too, you could get some really good items like Max Revives, Rare Candies and other stuff, and even catch (infinite) this-specific-funfest-mission-exclusive Glameow on White 2 and Stunky in Black 2 on one of the few game-exclusive funfest missions. Basically, there's a funfest mission that makes Glameow appear in a hidden grotto in W2 and Stunky in B2, and it's the only way to get these Pokémon in these games without trading. Really interesting. I thought you needed internet to play these but you don't, you can play alone and complete them and use the Pass Powers on your game even while playing on an emulator. I'm sure almost anyone reading this comment learned something new, I don't know how many people will read it but if you did and learned interesting new stuff, making this comment was worth the time!

Black 2 and white 2 in my opinion holds some of my fondest memories. Whether it's battling my friends, or just playing through all of the post game content. This is the only pokemon game I was playing for months after beating the main story. I also remember trying to fill up the Pokedex until my friends older brother told me that it was impossible without transferring pokemon and getting mystery gifts. Lol good time man. Take me back😭😭

I mean, Undella town was not new in B2W2. This town also exists in Black/White but it's a post-game area. Undella town is famous for the "I just walked into a house like normal but suddenly a familiar piano BGM from the Sinnoh League came up" meme. You can battle Cynthia with her Lv76 pokemon (80 if you play challenge mode) once a day here in both BW and BW2.

I mean, I agree with your thoughts on Ruby/Sapphire to Emerald, because they're rather similar (though I still view Emerald as a direct improvement) but Platinum vastly improved Diamond/Pearl by adding new plot, by fixing some issues of it having like, many of the Gen 4 pokemon unobtainable before the elite four, and more.

yeah, Platinum flat out made D/P obsolete, to be honest. but B2/W2 are still better, because they're not only the only proper sequels, they implement tons and tons of odd and unique features, finish the story from the first games, add more new locations than you would expect, make some older Pokemon available, and often in novel ways (like getting a Riolu, Magby, or Elekid super-early), and they're just really polished in general. B2/W2 might be the most feature-stuffed games in the whole series. Sword and Shield absolutely feel threadbare by comparison, not to mention Sun/Moon and X/Y. it honestly, to me, feels like Game Freak regressed after B2/W2, like they couldn't properly handle the 3DS. and the Switch has confounded them even more! and I'm not biased, because I was already in my twenties when these games came out, so it's not simple childhood nostalgia having me sing the praises of Gen V. it's that I genuinely think they're the best Pokemon has ever been as a game experience.

One of my favorite things about B2W2 is how you can use the xtranseever to contact the people whose contacts you have saved and they will tell you a little about the world depending on where you are. Also, a low key, but super important feature is the ability to ask Cheren for a detailed description of the abilities your Pokémon have. Of course these days we just Google that info, but it adds to the game to have this feature- it makes Cheren into a real character rather than just a gym leader and fits his theme as someone who teaches new trainers his descriptions are also more detailed than the summary screen. Case in point- the summary screen only says that the ability’solar power’ ups spat tack in strong sun. Cheren tells you that it also causes you to take some damage- an important detail the game otherwise wouldn’t tell you. He also tells you how weather can affect the battle, something the game just expects you to learn on your own otherwise. Honestly lm impressed. It should also be noted that I only played these games literally a week ago. So with the perspective of someone who did not play that game as a kid I can confidently say that it is one of the best Pokémon games I have ever played. Not just for this detail, but for many other reasons like a vastly more exploitable world, the world tournament, and the fact it was a decent sequel in a world where sequels typically suck.

Cheren actually give you very detail information of abilities. Like, I asked him about pickup, and he told me that you csn use it to pick up items that your opponent consumed in battle if the pickup mon is in battle. This was never mentioned in the description.

The non stab flying type advice for the elite 4 actually does make sense because almost all of Marshals pokemon have stone edge or rock slide so a flying type could get wrecked in there, especially against Sawk

At 9:00 you mentioned that you couldn’t find rustling grass, I’m pretty sure you can’t find any until you beat Cheren and the first gym which makes training Riolu just a bit harder

I battled SO MANY AUDINO's for EXP in the rustling grass that my first shiny I ever caught was an Audino. My pokemon were all low 70's before the 8th gym mainly from slaughtering Audino's in rustling grass.

Btw for anyone wondering, if you run, rustling grass will disappear. You gotta walk to 'sneak' up on it. This is similar to how spinner trainers in some of the games immediately look your way when you run.

Definitely amazing games. I also love sheer number of Pokémon available in the game, so many interesting early game pokemon.
