I remember one piece-of-work hosting a fort map where the rules were "no arty" and then when I loased the game he had the fort full of rockets, mortars and elite infantry. Really left a sour taste about the whole ETW community.

I recently had 2 battles on austerlitz against 3 same opponents, fuckers had 5 mortars, lots of melee infantry and high quality units including a militia spam and 5 of 12-24lb pounders camping on austerlitz hill, assholes. What i learned: always bring howitzers and a battery in online battles, you are playing mostly against assholes. We lost, just too much artillery and position too strong for our assaulting exhausted units, they lost half their armies.

What's worse is he's playing the French and rocket camping. Literally the most braindead thing a new or bad player can do.

I never understood the joy of rocket camping. You barely move your troops or use any strategy. Good job beating him!

Players are passive because they are so bad and play unfairly to win, they are ASSHOLES, i almost never bring howitzers and i never use rockets.

No, you can't turn it off since he was the host and likely had rain enabled. Why people play with rain for MP games I have no clue. It is so annoying.
