Beating the Dev's Author Times in Adventure Mode!

Hey everyone and welcome back to more Zeepkist! Today we are back in adventure mode and I decided to go through each of the levels to beat all the dev made author times! Some of these levels are trickier than others but I've had a lot of people asking to beat all the levels in adventure so we're going to start at the beginning and work through all of them!

There's one thing I would recommend, that can save quite a lot of time here and there. Try to give slightly less input when you see smoke, as that means you are under steering, meaning you end up turning less and lose more speed to sliding. I'm pretty sure you've heard of it but wanted to chip in if it can help you or anybody in the comments to get that slight bit faster :)

It just makes my day seeing you comment on all of the crews videos with advice and comments from your attempts on the videos. You've managed to become such a legend in the videos and made a name for yourself here. Even with many other good players stealing the leaderboard you are the most recognizable

I know about the revert to center trick to get a better line but does a lesser input accomplish the same thing?

@@kANGaming I think we're talking about the same thing. No need to fully center it, as sliding cancels out before that. The threshold that cancels the slide is usually lower than the optimum input, so you can steer slight bit more again after cancelling the slide. It is precise stuff, but after getting it, it just becomes muscle memory. You can likely AT everything without it, but it's all about those last tenths in online ;)

When you eventually get stuck on something, you should jump on a call/multiplayer session with Warcans. He is such a big part of the Zeep videos it would be cool to give him a little spotlight.

I think this will be my favourite series for now! I just got zeepkist (because of you guys videos), and am working through the adventure mode... and even after watching this, I'm still not getting them all! BTW, the tulip one (4?) was killing me... thanks for THAT cheese!

In level 3, after CP4 (around 3:47) jump the wall toward the purple tree in front of you to skip that loop

06 is a lot easier if you don't slide around that last corner. It takes some practice but basically just don't steer 100% and if you see the dust snap to center quick. You can see on the winning attempt that you kinda did that at the start.

I feel like these tracks were made in such a way where the bronze and silver times helped teach basics of maneuvering while gold and author times teach advanced skills. I suffered so much on a few of these author metals but I'm better as a whole because of it.

Yeah, I just started playing zeepkist. I started out by getting all the author times and I'm just about done with the main path. Most levels are pretty easy but I agree that level 6 is a pain especially when just starting out learning the game.

Looking forward to yu doing the rest. I might try author on them as well, but currently been just trying to co.plete each track. I finished all but D11 which is the bane of my existance. Which of course I cam't play D12 cause I can't finish D11. Somehow I lose too much speed and stall on the final tube loop d loop before the finish.

level 4has an easier cheese. There are 2 red flowers, under the drop off in front of them is a booster. Drop at no speed and arms up. You will hit the booster and can drive. The flowers even line up with the boosters sides, so I think it was intentional.

04 you WANT to land on the farther tunnel and do a corkscrew. It maintains your speed and you can get an 18 something easy
