To answer why using a landmine on tiamat doesn't count as a kill, it must just be an intentional work around to allow for a pacifist run. Considering Spelunky 1 had a special thing if you brought the eggplant to the secret final boss, which would be impossible without exploiting a glitch, I think the devs enjoy allowing extreme challenges in Spelunky.

The cinematic themes and masterful writing of dougdoug streams are amazing! We can see the subtle forshadowing disguised as a joke at 2:33:54, with a person joining the bandwagon team before leaving to become a doubter. Only for doug to win and the bandwagoner, distraught and having his life ruined by doug winning comes back with the single most incredible line in cinematic history, "Bandwagon deez nuts.". Truly a masterclass of writing and filming in every aspect of it! Bravo vince!

ok so "1984" is a book written by George Orwell that "centres on the consequences of totalitarianism, mass surveillance and repressive regimentation of people and behaviours within society." - from wikipedia iirc someone made a political comic when trump's twitter account got suspended where the wife says something like "trump got suspended from twitter" and then the husband pulls back the calendar to january 1984 people began making memes with the comic basically making fun of it for comparing trump being suspended to novel that details a dystopian society so when chat spams 1984 it's similar to the rigged meme, where people will just scream at the tiniest inconvenience/nothing at all in a joking manner
