Hi Andrew. A very very nice package. I've heard the cd's already and they sound amazing. The Abbey Road mix we knew had already a very good sound, but Giles Martin did a hell of a jobto improve it. Today I receive my 2CD version and 1 LP version. Monday or Tuesday I will get the superdeluxe box and the 3LP version and the picture disc. These 3 last mentioned items, I ordered in Germany. I had to pay 65 Euro less than ordering over here in The Netherlands. I think saving 65 Euro is worth a 2 or 3 days wait. And for these 65 Euro I bought the 2CD version and the 1LP version and still have some money in the pocket. Maybe a good start for the Let It Be box😉. In the 2CD version, CD2 has the same tracklisting as CD1, but alternate takes. On the 3CD version those tracks are in a random order. But the set looks great. Enjoy it, mate.

Greetings from Sydney Australia Andrew. I got the 2CD, 3LP Box & 3CD/Bluray versions. I've played the albums themselves, yet to hear the other CD's in the box set. I kept the hype stickers on the boxed sets. I was able to remove them from plastic and put the CD sticker on the blank blue page in the HC book. The LP sticker went on the inside lid of the box. They look pretty good there. The bluray audio sounds phenomenal. The DTS-HD surround sounds louder than the Dolby Atmos mix. Still working my way through them. Cheers Andrew. Thanks for the video.

Bought the SDE yesterday from HMV, but the BluRay refused to load both on my Sony player & the Xbox One S. Returned and replaced by HMV this morning and the disc loads fine. Atmos listening later this morning with coffee. Despite already having the SDE, I tuned in for a look at the 3LP set - which also looks fabulous! And you’re not wrong about the quality of the SDE book - it would be a fine book of essays and photographs in its own right.

hi Andrew, snap ,I got the 2 editions you bought. My only complaint would be apparently there is a version of Something not included that had John on piano that goes into a long jam after the song. I,ve also ordered the Sones Let it bleed box set which is on par with Abbey road. I,m so glad I went on the Abbey road tour as it made today even more amazing

Hi Andrew, had a great idea for your channel. Why not do videos on individual Macca songs and explore why they are classics? It occurred to me when I was listening to ‘I’m Carrying’ from London Town and why I love it so much. For me, it’s a Christmas song… you can feel and hear the snow falling on Christmas night as Paul is singing! The anticipation of Santa delivering presents to a boy or girl is here in this song. He’s carrying presents! It could be to a child or to a lover. The atmosphere is majestic, it’s winter and we’re wrapped up warmly in bed as this song plays! Just beautiful. That’s what it makes me feel anyway. Videos dealing with individual Macca songs would be fantastic. Not sure if you considered it? Love your work.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the unboxing for both the 'Abbey Road' CD and LP box sets. Enjoyed both and the comparisons to the prior Beatles box sets. I'm not sure which I can afford to pick up at present ? The Superdeluxe looks the best. I originally wanted the 2CD version but, was disappointed that Apple didn't include any of the outtakes like 'Goodbye' and 'Come and Get it' and the other alternate takes of like 'Old Brown Shoe' and 'Ballad of John and Yoko' as on the box set.

I love the Abbey Road deluxe box that’s all I have the vinyl edition as well as the three CDs that plus the Blu-ray it’s really a fantastic album and the deluxe box set is good although I wish there was more than what we got being a collector I am I love collecting super deluxe box set and it’s great to have everything and I love the remix of the Abbey Road album and I also love the different outtakes like the strings version of some thing and then hearing her Majesty with the missing guitar note at the end which cuts off on the original album and hearing the demo version of come and get it dry it sounds really good. and I lovely want you she’s so heavy with the Billy Preston organ solo which was not used in the final mix in love how the engineer says is it possible without affecting yourself could you turn it down a little apparently there’s been a complaint from home John Lennon asks from somebody that’s great chatter one of the best.

How is the pressings for the vinyl? Is it flat on the turntable? White album last year had some QC issues while Sgt peppers was fine.

It was fine and flat for me, I had a little noise especially at the start of side 2 before Here Comes The Sun started, but I've heard from other people who said no noise there.

Yes same height and depth should be the minimum requirement really! Width can alter depending on how much inside.

Various small label reissue companies (examples Bear Family, Mosaic Records) have got this perfected, in terms of standardised box height and depth. Only the big/bigger companies come up with strange designs and varying shapes and sizes for their box sets.

It continues to annoy me the Books don't come with the vinyl edition which then forces you to have to buy the digital box set as well - If it were me I'd put the books with the vinyl and let people just buy the digital version they want - let be honest, the bluray is the only digital disk most would want if the book was with the vinyl as you can then use that if you want mobile versions. Its purely a money grab and I get more annoyed by that and appreciate the ones that make the vinyl version the premier one (or that ones that just have everything) ...

I cannot see the point of listening to the bonus stuff on vinyl. I have passed on a fair few vinyl records with bonus stuff. I want the original album. Anything else can be digital.
