Thanks for this unboxing, Kabir. I heartily commend you to reconsider seeing the new doco. I was certainly sceptical - particularly given how it's been hyped - but a friend insisted we see the first episode together. It was a revelation. Disagreements, tetchiness? Certainly, here and there. But nothing like the funereal atmosphere of Lindsay-Hogg's orginal. There is a real feeling of goodwill and collaboration. Watching Paul begin to write 'Get Back' as he jams on a riff is reason alone to see it, in my opinion.

That's what I hear... it's only sad for me simply because two of them are gone. I feel the same way with the other films, too, and even the music to an extent.
