How are these different from the regular compression tights 2XU feature? I'm torn between getting these and the regular ones due to the $50 difference.

+Bradford Champlin the regular 2xu compression thigh doesn't have the inner rubbery thing as the 2xu MCS compression thigh. I recommend you to take the latter if you're an active person

The difference between the regular tights and the MCS tights are that the regular tights are what you call a 70D fabric which is the lower grade compression. The MCS have a 70D fabric on the front for flexibility and aa 105D which is a higher grade compression at the back for greater support. The MCS have a muscle containment feature on the quads and the calves which decrease muscle oscillation and increase support for your muscles.
