The amount of vandalism is sickening... lack or morals, no respect for other people's property.

These Vandals didn't get enough HUGS AS CHILDREN I guess!!!! My Nieces and Nephews would NEVER do things like that!!! Of course, they've been raised properly!!!! On a "LIGHTER NOTE", The Trim on the Windows and Doorways are sooooo NICE!!!! That Bay Window is just INCREDIBLE!!!! I would have put a Bench in there and sit reading my Book. I'm sure it got LOTS of use in it's day!!!! The Detail on the Stairwell is so LOVELY, and the Stained Glass, I'm sure, was really SOMETHING!!!! I wish they could save some of the Trim and Hardware!!!! Thanks for taking us along Urbex!!!!

Nice videos. My grandpa and then uncle had a big beautiful century farm home Kingston Ont. He passed away childless. The estate was left to my brother and I, but by then we were educated and adult and working in the US and Europe. We did not want the old farm or didn't want to spend money there. It sat in disrepair with no interest in buyers. I think this is common situation with these old abandoned non productive vessels.

Greedy developers and punk kids. This house is amazing. The details are beyond spectacular. Breaks my heart.

Transom windows were important for air flow and cross ventilation back in the days before A/C 😊

It’s unbelievable what was done to this beauty of a house. You were making me nervous walking around all kind of stuff. So many beautiful things like the moldings and windows. Really sad, very upsetting.
@rogerbraddy6883Күн бұрын
my thought is save some of those details, if developer owned they will wait for squatters to destroy or burn it to a point it won't have any salvageable parts than it will be deemed unsafe and condemned. developers make profits to develop never mind history. sad

This house looks a lot bigger on the inside than it does on the outside. It would've been fascinating to tour this house without all the damage and vandalism done to it.

If it's that flooded the foundation is wrecked with cracks. Sadly this house is probably beyond saving just due to the foundation issue.

What an awesome old house, sad that the vandals have done some irreparable damage to the place. Unfortunately it’s probably beyond salvaging now. I really don’t get the graffiti, nor the fascination of drawing a dick and balls over things, just plain crude vandalism! I was really hoping that nothing would happen with the frozen lake downstairs, pleased you managed to show the basement! The poop was also disgusting! Thanks though for a great explore Owen!

Huge bubble letters in the graffiti shows these loser vandals not only had no artistic talent, buf had nothing going for them.

I will never understand why people think destroying historic places like this is ok. I'm surprised there aren't signs of alcohol or drugs, because people doing this just for fun is disgusting 😡

Save the moulding and any doors in good shape. I think the house is beyond saving. No one would put money into that. It's way too bad the previous owner let it get like that.

People who are stupid use 4 letter words when they speak and people who have zero creativity destroy what others create. I hate that this beautiful old girl has been treated this way.
@OwenMccabe-y9jКүн бұрын
Was this house intentionally trashed?
@malindahenke5724Күн бұрын
That would be my guess so the developer can remove Heritage status and tear it down.

It is so sad that beautiful creative architecture is giving way to the "IKEA"equivalent, from houses to furniture to cars.

Whn they were destroying the place, I bet they were laughing the whole time. I feel the same as you, makes me sick. If all the stuff wasn't on the basement floor, you could ice skate. I am glad you didn't fall through the ice.
