Sea kraits and cobras, a great writhing wyrm or a beast with a fake head on its tail spewing ailments like a two-headed monstrosity. 6th Gen has a lot to fill in.

Well the issue is Najarala is already very Quetz inspired. The big flat scales reminiscent of feathers. They can definelty do some interesting things. But they're in a bad spot like piscine wyverns are unless they REALLY ease up on what a snake wyvern is. I'm still of the opinion. Almudron should have been a Snake wyvern

Interesting snake fact: the absence of legs isn't actually an indicator of being a snake, at least in terms of genetic phylogeny. They have to have been descended from a specific subsect of lizards that branched off; their legless nature is just how their ancestors evolved. Legless lizards show convergent evolution, evolving legless slithering bodies while still being more closely related to standard lizards.

12:40 *NITPICK* : the fact that this monster can become an apex, in others words, surpass and overcome the Frenzy virus proves that Tidal is kinda strong. Maybe it means nothing, maybe it's just Capcom being kinda ramdom (why Tidal in particular ? Why just not normal Najarala, while Savage Jho/Black Diablos/ Molten tigrex didn't have their apex counterpart). Yet we live in a world where Brachydios, Rathalos heck even Seltas Queen and Yian Garuga didn't get an apex version. But Tidal Najarala did. It sounds like i'm complaining, but no, in fact seeing a pretty underated monster having an apex promotion is sick as hell. I'm proud of him !

Savage jho, molten tigrex, and black diablos all have very specific biological differences that could inhibit the ability to be frenzied easily, but may not allow them to survive: Jho's excess dragon element might inhibit frenzy; Tigrex's living in volcanoes might reduce its exposure; Diablos being a female in heat could be providing it a higher immune response to keep from becoming inflicted. All of those factors could help resistance, but once the frenzy takes them, they would have little ability to survive it: Jho's body is also heavily weakened by the excess dragon element, and may not even have an immune system anymore to deal with the frenzy that survive; Tigrex may also have a weaker immune system due to how little viral/bacterial life can survive in high heat dry environments, and as such do not need it as much as they need strong physical characteristics to deal with the heat and microparticles in the volcanic air; Diablos' potentially heightened immune response might overwork itself keeping the frenzy at bay initially, which in turn leads to it succumbing later as their immune system basically shuts down from fatigue.

5:41 I fought him recently and THIS part of the fight really messed with me and for a bit I genuinely hated fighting him... until I decided to farm his equipment for the Fire Drill quest (needed good dragon resistance for S.Zinogre and water is strong against him and especially Brachy) and got enough Water Resistance (30+ water resistance) to make those attacks do basically no damage Now I think he's a fantastic monster!

It would be interesting to see a variant of a snake wyvern that is inspired by 2-headed snakes and see the introduction of a polycephalous monster into Monster Hunter. Of course, I would imagine it would be a rarity considering 2-headed creatures in general tend not to live to adulthood.

Not a croc specifically, but just a large bulky Brute Wyvern that’s slow in movement, but crazy fast bites and lunges from Valstrax styled rockets on its jaw. The thing with constrictor squeezes is, if you have two people, they are very preventable because the second person can basically just wrap the snake off before the coils are set in properly. Which is why if you were to keep like a fully-grown retic, you should always have two people in the room when you have to handle it. They're incredibly personable and chill and lovely snakes, I'm told, but they're also incredibly massive and strong.

i really want this monster in MH6 or its expansion. it would require the same work as fixing the lagi issue if the game has slopes but dam it would be so worth it. not just because that being fixed mean more new monsters with less limitations on the technical side so the creativity can just flow but this monster is so awesome with his projectiles bouncing of the scales. the base monster having the gimmick of its roar being at the same frequency as the vibration of the scales making them shatter and explode is cool but having a monster set traps with the scales around the zone so if a projectile misses you you have to consider not just that it may be aiming for another player or monster but that it's still aiming for you but hit a scale off your screen to bounce it back at you for the delay and direction to catch you off guard. there's also a lot they could do with map design and him placing scales in walls or on slopes so it's not just horizontal in a future game, like how seething bazel's bigger bomb scales stick to walls. it's such a cool monster. water monsters are also kind of underused so seeing one that's this cool is awesome.

I love the idea behind Tidal Najarala and absolutely loved regular Najarala when I first fought it... until it became sweeper galore, lingering hitbox body throwing and constant chip damage and tripping when getting constricted. I hope Najarala and Tidal Najarala get in MH6, but for the love of god they'd need a rework to their fight entirely to be enjoyable rather than a chore to get out of the way.

the budget for MH6 wont just be the biggest budget of any MH game but the biggest budget for ANY capcom game if not ANY capcom project like MH in insane rn 5th gen sales until now are 51.3 MILLION sales (if we count MHW master edition sales as 2 sales if not then 48.3 million sales also MHR+SB deal isnt included so probably 50million+) they might go all out with MH6 like 40 monsters+ on release, 2 new weapons, more and better turf wars, biggest capcom game ever (not likely but realistic)

My favorite monsters only extra form. Love naja with only nitpicks agaisnt him. Also he should definitely be a higher teir monster on just size to snake ratio which when you look at makes naja realistic as strong as elders, Or at least top of the food chain. Anaconda kills gators, naja being the size of two rathalos stacked on top of each other makes him way scary when you remember he is meant to be a constrictor.

I have nothing but contempt for this crap of a monster fight. Markedly easier in multiplayer. Infuriating solo. Literally the worst monster that I've ever faced. Nice colour scheme. But so much about it is toxic to fight. Urgh.
