Wow! And now I realize I have a Bromeliad plant just a few meters away from me, in a plant on a chair here in the living room! I saw it was something familiar, so I had to see this video. I have wondered what type of plant I had bought from the grocery store, and it is a Bromeliad, I now understand. It is a really easy plant to maintain. Very, very easy. And a very strange plant. It must be watered from the top, and the water will run down the plant and collect at the bottom. Where it will sit for over a week, then it must be watered again. It is extremely easy to see when it needs water, just look at the reservoir at the bottom leaves, when it is almost dry, it needs more. Strange enough, the water does not seem to just evaporate into the air during a few days, but stays there. So, a very, very easy plant, and very stunning. But it is also easy to forget to give it water, because it is done just once a week or three times a month.
