Super cute cutting them this way. I love the FUYU, and have many offers for fresh picked ones from neighbors... but only ate them raw in salads. Last year I tried the basic oven method with some "Chinese 5 spice" sprinkled on them and they were "da Bomb"....friends gushed at how fabulous they were. I am going to try your method this year as I scored 2 bags from 2 different sources. Thanks for the new recipe and tips

Yes, ad they stay crispy for long time if stored in an airtight container and taste nice too.

I use a dehydrator and I take off the skin of the persimmon. I only dry if I have excess fruits. They are yummy to eat fresh

Sorry but I'm confused. Shouldi I preheat the oven and when is ready put the persimmons and then turn de oven off. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late reply, no the oven should stay on until the fruits are dehydrated.
