Plants are the secret. Rhizome plants require some water hardness. Floaters are the most forgiving and eat any and everything. Water and a lightbulb in the room they grow like wildfire

I appreciate the little tips and details in this one. The magnet trick is great! You could also use polyfil wedged in ghe rocks go keep the soil in place. Showing how to grip different plants when planting nis also useful. Certain types of plants need different angles and its really helpful to visually see that. Thank you Lizzie!

Excellent video and beautifully done. I always appreciate Lizzy’s scapes and explanations. This has inspired me to rescape my blue dream shrimp tank (loving the rock and formation). Can I also say how VERY much I appreciate the soft relaxing background music, which fits so well for what I’m looking for in an escape video (as opposed to most other channels whose blaring fake-drumbeat stock music is overly loud for the content and makes my sensitive ears have to watch on mute 😢). Lizzie, you are a gem ❤

@butkusfan23

The video literally said it will have light for about 6 hours. And shrimp don’t need a heater. Not all fish and stock you put in a tank need a heater.
@wmtrader
@wmtrader Жыл бұрын
@@butkusfan23 The light should be shown and explained. The temperature of the room will affect the water temperature so the room will need to stay in the correct temperature range all of the time. A heater would be a better solution. Remember that this is a beginner's video.

Pleaseeee help.. i truly hope you can find the time to reply. I used flubendazole in my tanks and I didnt realize it would kill our mystery and nerite snails. Couldn't figure out why they died until i started googling. Apparently people even a year later STILLLLL cant add snails after using this antiparasitic, they've tried activated charcoal and even purigen. Even bare bottomed tanks still will kill them, some have assumed the meds seep into the silicone. Is there ANYTHING that can be done to make my tanks safe for snails again?

Very nice but fluval stratum and seiryu stone are not recommended for cherry shrimps as this lowers the GH/KH/PH which can be harmful to cherry shrimps and neocardina shrimps. This scape is best for cardinia shrimps.

I used this kind of soil and for the first 2 weeks it lowered the pH, but after a few water changes it stopped having any effect and the pH is 7 which is the same as my tap water.
@narwhalocean791
@narwhalocean791 Жыл бұрын
'seiryu stone' for sale will not lower pH as it often has limestone. it will instead often raise pH, which will go against the buffering ability of the soil, stopping it from becoming too acidic but also may make the parametres unstable if you do large water changes
@nirvanaquatics
@nirvanaquatics 11 ай бұрын
Neos can actually thrive in low pH if they are acclimated appropriately. I have some in 6.4 pH and they breed and thrive. I just feed a mineral-rich food that helps them with shell production and molting.
