The first time I saw this was after I'd seen "Our IVF Journey" on Geoff's channel, and I flat out ugly cried at the ending here. Knowing what they'd gone through to get this point, and that look of utter joy when Geoff reaches for his little boy... sniff. It's heartwarming to see the other families, too. Layne is so outnumbered -- wife and four daughters, and I think even their dogs are female. LOL! The spouses also have a cameo in Boy Bands In Five Minutes, which is a super fun video.

Yes, I thoroughly recommend watching our IVF journey then watching this again, for added feels in that last scene. Geoff and Kathy are so supportive of each other (also clear in their video on hearing loss, and elsewhere).

I think you might be the first reactor I’ve seen comment on the looks Geoff and Earl exchanged, but I read them differently. I saw Geoff asking, “Where’d that come from?” while Earl replied, “I don’t know!” Also, I can hit that note Earl hit there as well as every note Geoff hits except the last one. I haven’t learned to do subharmonics.

Yes, J. has since married. They had a courthouse ceremony (I think; it was definitely small) before he went into the Navy so she would legally be his dependent as far as the military was concerned. The wedding and reception with friends was held a couple days after they filmed Valhalla Calling. They posted on social media about it. Looks like they had a great time.

This is definitely a slightly older video, but with Geoff, what is always the most striking to me when watching older videos is his brown hair. I think that's what was probably throwing you off the most. Now when I see him like that it almost looks fake to me. 😂 This is such a heartwarming video getting to see all their families. This is a classic in both the country-western and Gospel genres and has been done by many artists and groups. The Cash version features the Carter family, his in-laws who were famous in their own right. His wife June did the "Mama sang tenor" part. Voiceplay knocks it out of the park.

Dj, it's not quite the same because we don't see Adam's family except one brief glimpse but, 'Down to the Honkytonk' by Home Free has Chance and Sami (then engaged, now married) Tim and Anika, Rob and his wife and kids, Austin and his friend Sebastian, no Amberlee though and is a kinda hilarious and heartwarming video, shot during lockdowns so they had to work with what they had. Adam is a big D'n'D/40k nerd and you can see him painting some of his models in the video too. A couple of very low notes courtesy of Mr Foust.
