You can't go wrong with a gorgeous Italian guy born and raised in Montreal who can write and sing. This song was produced by all three Vannelli brothers...Gino, Ross and Joe, released in 1981 on his 7th album Nightwalker. It was his second top-ten hit in the U.S. during the spring and summer of 1981, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached No. 5 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart in the U.S. He's still touring today! Love him!

I was dating this girl who thought I looked like him and she played me his 1976 album, "Gist of the Gemini," when I fell in love with his powerful vocals. The standouts on that album for me were "Love of My Life" and "Fly Into This Night." His biggest hit single, "I Just Wanna Stop" is also a great song and performance. Please check them out. And then when I saw how handsome he was...oh my goodness! He is such a precious soul. Sadly he just lost the love of his life, his wife of 50 years to cancer. She was just as beautiful as he is handsome. Striking, beautiful couple, who had a handsome son as well! It's going to be a tough time for him for quite awhile. I pray God blesses him abundantly with peace and loving moments with their son Anton.

Listening to him reminds me of my childhood and youth. It was difficult for Canadian singers to hit the US Billboard charts despite their talent.
