When I was a kid, my father was a Maitre D' at the Copacabana Nightclub in New York City. Tom Jones played the Copa, and my father took my Mom and my bother and I to see the show. He was unbelievable. Besides the fact that his voice was amazing, it was a crazy show because women from the audience were rushing the stage almost every song, grabbing him, hugging him, etc. It got so bad my father had to sit on the stage to protect Tom from the all the women throwing themselves at him. Never forgot it. Got to meet him in his dressing room after the show, he gave my brother and I several of his albums, he was the nicest guy in the world. Been a huge Tom Jones fan ever since. Check out "I Who Have Nothing", another amazing vocal performance.

I saw him in concert twice back in the late 1970’s. He was soooooo good! I wasn’t that big of a fan but after I saw him live the first time, I was hooked. He put on a show that was unbelievable. The way he danced had all the women screaming. I was 18 years old and he was beautiful. And about a year later I saw him again. He was definitely in his prime!

Ohhhh Mah Gawwwd!! MY FAVORITE TOM JONES SONG!! I listen to this all the time!! I love his pleading robust baritone vocals. ❤❤My cousin went to a Tom Jones concert in the early 70s. She told me women would throw their hotel keys and undergarments on stage. Tom would pick up one of the undergarments, rub it on his chest, and throw it back into the crowd. 😂Thank you soooo much, Jay & Amber!! I sat anxiously waiting to see how you'd react to the BIG CRESCENDO!! 🎶🎶

I have loved Tom Jones since I watched his TV show with my mother when I was little. I saw Sir Tom in Lincoln City, Oregon at the casino in the late 1990's. My mom has passed by then but I went with friends who also loved Tom Jones. We were all older, but Sir Tom looked & sounded great as always. And women were still throwing their underwear on the stage & he was still picking them up. I felt close to my Mom at the concert, remembering the two of us in the basement watching him while my Dad & brothers were upstairs. I didn't want the concert to end. It will be a memory in my heart, always. Thanks for today's reaction.💜

I saw Tom Jones during one of my vacations in London, England, either 1881 or 1983 (I no longer remember which year). I went to an afternoon performance and it was so good that afterwards I purchased a ticket from somesone selling their ticket for that same night at face value. That night I had a much better seat. A few years later, I saw him in Daytona Beach, Florida. Each time he put on a fantastic performance, singing every song the audience wanted to hear. And yes, this was during the days when he was still swinging those hips.

This was a great reaction worthy of this master. His catalog is so deep and wide: country, rock, “crooner”, spirituals, show tunes, you name it. I hope you will get to both his and Joe Cocker’s versions of Randy Newman’s “You Can Leave Your Hat On” (and Randy Newman’s original is also pretty good). Tom’s was pretty recent, in the last 10 years or so. I think on one of those America’s Got Talent, type reality talent shows. You will love how good he still is.

I wish I could give this video a thousand likes. One of his best songs. Saw him in Las Vegas about ten years ago. My nephew had an old bandmate who was playing bass with Tom Jones so we got to see him for free and had private seats up by the lighting booth. I grew up watching his show as a kid and loved him so much I sang into a hairbrush for the family. That was the only time I got to see him and was grateful for the invite. He did all of his hits and the women still swooned over him, to the point a couple pair of panties were tossed on stage. For real. Tom will always be the man.

I just got a memory notification of a benefit concert ad that we attended at the end of October 10 years ago. It was a 2 day benefit concert with the same lineup both days. For the 1st day we won front row tickets and back stage passes. We also attended the second day. Tom Jones was part of the lineup. There was a great picture from a professional photographer that was taked from behind the stage showing Tom Jones bowing to the students seated at the back of the stage and you can see us in the front row. Rest of the lineup was Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Florence and the Machine, Soundgarden, Peggi Young and the Survirors, Band of Horses, and Norah Jones and Puss N Boots. As expected with Soundgarden and Pearl Jam on the same lineup, they did Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog.

At well over the age of 80 Tom sang "I Won't Crumble With You If You Fall". It was one of the all time great musical performances. What he said before he started to sing will get your attention.
