The pilot of this Fokker, Captain Tomislav is the best in every way. First of all as a man and a friend and certainly as an excellent pilot. A beautiful gesture. I know him personally and I can freely say that I did not expect anything less from him. I wish him many, many more happy flights, to him, his crew and his passengers.

Years ago at D/FW airport in Texas they had an observation area and the pilots and some passengers would wave when they taxied by about 70 yards away and the kids would go crazy with excitement. I'll admit even as an adult it was cool to have pilots wave at you.

Oh how I love this aircraft and her sound! So sad they're becoming rare with every day. Stunning catch, mate! ;)

Yes it is a wonderful aircraft. This one entered service in 1992 with American Airlines as N1431B and was sold to Trade Air in 2005.

Must be one of the world's friendliest pilot ! Flew in one of these once in Bangladesh Biman many years ago. Don't know why but I was scared to fly in one in transit; after a long haul flight by Air bus.

@@MattAviationChannel , it was Fokker 28 4000 that skidded off the runway on landing and broke in 3 parts . It happened just few months before I flew in one. Also to make matter worse for me, I was sitted at the back of the aerplane near the rear engines. So the cabin noise was pretty dramatic . It was only 30 minutes flight and the day was bright and partial cloud.. Still the plane went through few bumps in the air as it flew through the clouds . Every time it went through bumps, I thought to myself.... oh God ! .... it will crash ..... it will crash ! Well, it did not crash :-)

So departure was with standard Flaps 0 as we have a much better climb gradient and low TOW. 99%of of departures are made in this configuration. Quite often question regarding this nice bird. See ya 02 and 03.12. At the same place. Regards, Tomislav
