Those were some nice Goldens - you are the man hiking the backcountry bringing great content - do you really heat up your food with the defroster LOL, pan fry probably a lot better - catch you latet👊🎣👍

Right on. I was planning to try to get into the backcountry one more time this year but I don't know with the recent snow. That and it's freezing!

How long does it take to get back to south fork from your camp

I was sleeping at the trailhead and I was able to hike out of there in an hour and a half. I wasn't taking many breaks! I had to get back to my car to see what was going on with that tire.

If you take the route I show in my hiking clip it''s not the greatest trail but it's direct. The trail that hooks left at the lower cottonwood lakes is easiest to follow.

@@BrenC93 I state the trailhead I'm leaving on for every hike on my hiking playlist so in seconds with a search you can get it from all trails or a site like that. I have the hike on that playlist for every lake I fish on my backcountry fishing playlist. I like hiking with a a compass to fallback on. Old school!

I haven't fished or been to either. I might camp out next year and try them both. I've only looked at them on a map.
